Cranbourne free tips & form

Race 1. (18:30) Tab Multiplier Maiden Plate (1600m)

#3 – Empire Legend to win – BET NOW

Lindsay Park lines up the three-year-old gelding which looked a good bet at Mornington last start but came up short when running second.

The son of Fighting Sun has finished second at his past two career starts and although winless from three attempts, he won’t take long to break his maiden status.

Drawing barrier three should see him get a good run in transit and kick strongly.

Race 2. (19:00) Kids Night Out Maiden (1400m)

#2 – Iguacu Falls to win – BET NOW

Three-year-old filly which finished third in a recent trial behind stablemate and race-rival Voodoo Queen. That trial run was a good hit-out for this and she looks a good chance here.

The booking of Dwayne Dunn is a good sign for punters backing the first starter. There are some unknowns about her ability but she’s nicely bred and there should be money coming for her on race night.

Race 3. (19:30) Happy 60th Trev Maiden (1400m)

#4 – Bond of Trust to win – BET NOW

Mick Price lines up the three-year-old gelding which did well to run third on debut behind a smart type.

The son of Makfi ran third behind Yulong September at Sandown and running within a length of Yulong September is a solid effort.

That form has stacked up nicely since and even though there’s some unraced types in this field, his experience should count for plenty.

Race 4. (20:00) R & C Asphalt Maiden (1600m)

#10 – Unprecedented to win – BET NOW

Not the best maiden field punters will ever see but Unprecedented should give a good account and score a long overdue win.

Trained by Lindsay Park, the four-year-old gelding has placed in three of his nine starts to date, including last time out at Mornington. He did finish 4.6 lengths behind the winner but he has drawn well for this and should get an economical run.

Bookmakers should be offering each way odds.

Race 5. (20:30) Mypunter BM64 (1600m)

#3 – Empire Liberty to win – BET NOW

Coming off a last-start win is Empire Liberty, which has had the benefit of good racing experience at Cranbourne.

The Michael Trotter-trained gelding has had five starts at Cranbourne for two wins and one placing. That included a two-length win last time out and despite a long run of outs earlier this year, he has improved nicely with a three-month spell.

Each way odds should be available with bookmakers.

Race 6. (21:00) Mercedes-Benz C1 Handicap (1300m)

#10 – Subican to win – BET NOW

Comes into this off a last start fifth at Moonee Valley but she faces a slightly easier task this time around. The three-year-old filly was a winner at Pakenham two back and hasn’t been far off some nice types during her career.

The negative is the tricky barrier draw of nine, but she gets into the race with little weight on her back and she gives the powerful Lindsay Park stables another top chance at Cranbourne.

Race 7. (21:30) Tab Multiplier BM64 (2520m)

#2 – Kalalo to win – BET NOW

Coming off an ordinary run at Flemington but that came in rating 78 grade and this is a massive drop back in class.

The five-time winner was showing strong form prior to that when running third in rating 78 grade and winning in this grade at Cranbourne. That winning experience is going to count for plenty here and he can rebound nicely.

There are certainly no staying superstars in this and he should take advantage.

Race 8. (22:00) Safe & HNY From CTC BM64 (1200m)

#9 – Delvecchio to win – BET NOW

Scored nicely to score on debut at Werribee and he looms as a winning chance again. The Lloyd Kennewell-trained gelding scored by 2.3 lengths against a field of only five, but he did it well enough to suggest he could rise through the grades.

Gets the inside draw for this run and there’s every chance he goes close again.
