Daggers continues to run well this preparation after scoring last start, and he could repeat the dose on Saturday.

The Tony Gollan-trained gelding owns four wins and seven placings throughout his career, including a last-start win at Doomben.

3kg comes off his back to help with the top weight, which is a bonus.

Let’sfacethemusic was far too good for them at Doomben last time out, and a repeat win could be on the cards.

The five-year-old son of I Am Invincible is unbeaten in two runs at the track and getting in with 53.5kg is enough to take him close.

It’s not an easy field, but he’s well weighted to score.

Consistency is with Too Many Thoughts, who owns four wins and four placings from 10 starts, including a fresh up placing at Doomben.

The Billy Healy-trained gelding was only a length behind the winner, and we expect his form to improve with racing under his belt.

Barrier five with 54kg on his back is enough to take him close.
