#7 – Secret Fenkel

Secret Fenkel is another runner nearing a win this preparation after posting placings at Doomben, Ipswich, and Gold Coast.

The three-year-old son of Encryption handles all track conditions, which helps, and he has more upside than most runners in this race.

#1 – Braveheart

Braveheart looked good when winning four starts back at Ipswich before adding placings at Eagle Farm, Gold Coast, and Ipswich.

The four-year-old son of I Am Invincible has five placings from six starts on soft tracks, and getting 3kg off his back is a bonus.

He should be competitive against this level of opposition.

#2 – Nepravda

We backed Neprava last week when she won at Doomben, and there is no reason to jump off her back.

The four-year-old mare by Russian Revolution scored by a length with a driving finish, and she gets 3kg coming off her back for this run.

We expect her to run well again, so it could pay to follow her.

Race 5. (14:53) XXXX Gold Maiden (1350m)

#10 – Love Rebel

It won’t take Love Rebel long to break maidens after finishing second at Sunshine Coast last start, which is a good form guide.

The three-year-old filly by Fierce Impact was a short margin behind the winner as a $13 chance, but punters won’t get those odds here.

She is worth including in picks as a value bet.

#8 – Bollinger Miss

The Munce stable lines up Bollinger Miss, who won at Doomben fresh up before struggling in subsequent runs.

She is only a two-time winner, but both wins came at Doomben, and getting Ryan Maloney in the saddle could change her fortunes.

#2 – Kundabung

#7 – Rough Cause
