Eagle Farm free tips & form

Race 1. (11:06) Jim Beam Black Carnival Ball (1000m)

#8 – Getyourgreyon @ $4 – Bet Now

On debut for Matthew Dunn after winning a trial at Gold Coast to prepare for this. The two-year-old by Bel Esprit is bred to sprint and that’s a positive here.

Follow any positive betting signs but the early indication is good.

Race 2. (11:37) Tab Handicap (1000m)

#1 – Epaumada @ $2.40 – Bet Now

Two-year-old filly which will need some luck from out wide but she has shown plenty of ability early in her career.

She has won both career starts to date, with the most recent coming by 1.5 lengths at Eagle Farm. That track experience is ideal and she should produce another tidy effort here.

Race 3. (12:13) Brisbane Racing Carnival BM75 (2200m)

#3 – High Opinion @ $5 – Bet Now

The Kris Lees-trained runner has been well backed in early markets and he should run a good race here.

A son of Lord Jim, the seven-year-old isn’t getting any younger but he’s improving nicely this campaign and his run for third last start was good.

He is a former winner in Sydney and that form should stack up nicely.

Race 4. (12:48) Aritsan Carnival C3 (1200m)

#14 – Spin @ $2.60 – Bet Now

Quality gelding which has underperformed this season with only one win from 14 starts, but the ability is there.

He’s a three-year-old which has form behind the likes of Encryption and Fiesta, which should stack up nicely here and the odds on offer are generous.

Look for Spin to get back to his winning ways.

Race 5. (13:23) Robert John Wallis C3 (1200m)

#12 – Hold The Line @ $4.60 – Bet Now

Scored three wins in a row to open her career and although beaten last start, it was behind a nice type.

The filly by Your Song didn’t win her three races by big margins, but she fought nicely and that’s the sign of a good horse in the making.

Tough race here but her opening odds didn’t last long and that’s a good sign.

Race 6. (13:58) Caleb Plate (1400m)

#8 – Racecourse Road @ $3.20 – Bet Now

Got the job done nicely at Gold Coast last start when scoring by 4.5 lengths and that form could stack up nicely for this.

The three-year-old capped off some solid form with the win and having Jeff Lloyd in the saddle is only going to help his chances.

This race is there for the taking and he has upside.

Race 7. (14:37) Become A Member C6 Handicap (1600m)

#1 – Le Juge @ $3.80 – Bet Now

Chris Waller-trained gelding which narrowly got the job done last time out and that form looks good for this.

He scored his sixth career win with the victory and he placed at his only start on this track. That experience is only going to help and having an aggressive rider in the saddle is a bonus.

Race 8. (15:22) Tab Handicap (1000m)

#7 – From Within @ $3.60 – Bet Now

Looked the goods when winning four in a row late last year and that includes a win at Caulfield. He then ran 16th at Flemington but has since rebounded with some nice performances.

She ran second at Eagle Farm last time out and with that run under her belt, she’s only going to improve and should be tough to beat here.

$3.60 is a good price from bookmakers and she could shorten.

Race 9. (16:02) Sporting Chance Foundation Handicap (1400m)

#7 – Tonsor @ $1.85 – Bet Now

He was always going to be tough to beat last start and we can’t believe he was paying $2.10 to win. He scored by four lengths in a one-sided display and the royally-bred type could do it again.

The son of Redoute’s Choice has now won five of his eight starts, which includes three placings, and we’re not surprised at the odds-on quote.

Tough field here but he should be winning.

Race 10. (16:42) BRC 0MW (1400m)

#16 – Calzini @ $7.50 – Bet Now

Looks a nice each-way chance with a recent second placing under her belt and there has been good money come for her.

She opened at $9.50 and has come into $7.50, which is a significant move and carrying 54kg on her back is only going to help.

Include here at good odds.
