Eagle Farm horse racing tips & form

Race 1. (12:33) Tab Venue Mode C4 Handicap (1400m)

#2 – Mocambo – Bet @ Sportsbet

Mocambo returned to winning form at Doomben and the four-year-old could take advantage of the small field on Wednesday.

The son of Deep Field scored by just under a length against a tidy field, so there’s no reason why he won’t be competitive at this level.

He gets the inside barrier and we’re confident of a good run.

Race 2. (13:08) Sky Racing C1 Handicap (1200m)

#2 – Krameric – Bet @ Sportsbet

The four-year-old comes off an overdue win at Sunshine Coast and the confidence levels should be up now.

He took nine starts to break maidens and he has always been a running capable of producing more. Now that he has broken through, he could rise through the grades.

Robbie Fradd rides and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him win again.

Race 3. (13:43) Stradbroke Season on Sale Maiden (1000m)

#1 – Reality – Bet @ Sportsbet

Reality comes off consecutive second placings last preparation and he could return a stronger type.

The Chris Anderson-trained four-year-old ran second at Gold Coast before finishing second at Doomben behind Boomnova.

That form should stack up nicely at this level and although drawn awkwardly in barrier eight, we’re confident of a top effort.

Race 4. (14:18) Stradbroke Season Fashion C6 (1200m)

#3 – Sweet Snitty – Bet @ Sportsbet

The six-time winner comes off a tidy two-length win at Ipswich and he is capable of producing the goods again on Wednesday.

He placed at his only start at Eagle Farm, which came two starts back when running a length behind Genzai the Wolf. It was a solid outing and he has some things in his favour here.

Sweet Snitty gets the inside draw with a 3kg claimer, so punters should expect another nice run.

Race 5. (14:53) Jazz Under The Stars Maiden (1600m)

#1 – Kirkeby – Bet @ Sportsbet

Kirkeby didn’t show much on debut but improved quickly to finish second at Gold Coast on a heavy surface last start.

The three-year-old son of Kermadec was only 1.8 lengths behind the winner, which has since taken on much harder company on Saturday.

Getting the inside draw is ideal and he could make it count.

Race 6. (15:28) Kingston Town Club BM70 (1200m)

#2 – Georgie’s Pride – Bet @ Sportsbet

The three-year-old filly comes off three wins from her last four starts and that form can’t be overlooked.

She is a four-time winner from nine attempts and with three of those wins coming at Eagle Farm, punters should be confident of another top effort.

Jim Byrne takes the ride and given her last win came by 2.8 lengths, she clearly has more to offer this season.

Race 7. (16:03) BRC Carnival Membership C1 (1200m)

#2 – Soul Dancer – Bet @ Sportsbet

Soul Dancer is a quality three-year-old filly that owns one win from nine starts, but that could have easily been more.

The daughter of Sizzling owns four second placings and that includes a placing at Ipswich last time out. She hasn’t raced since November, but it doesn’t take her long to find form.

Barrier five is ideal and punters should enjoy each-way odds.

Race 8. (16:38) BRC TV BM68 (1600m)

#6 – Highmaster – Bet @ Sportsbet

Highmaster comes off consecutive placings and the stable change could do it the world of good. He was formerly with John Thompson in Sydney, so coming to Queensland should help.

The four-year-old finished third at Randwick two back before placing at Warwick Farm and we’re expecting that form to stack up well.

The two-time winner has upside and he should enjoy his new surroundings.
