Eagle Farm free tips & form
Race 1. (11:43) Tab Handicap (1000m)
#2 – Zac Attack @ $4.40 – Bet Now
Zac Attack was a winner on debut before being put away for a spell. The debut win came at Doomben where she scored an impressive half-length victory.
She returned to score a trial win at Gold Coast by 1.5 lengths and getting the inside draw will see her control the pace and kick strongly.
Nice odds on offer for a talented filly.
Race 2. (12:18) BRC Memberships Handicap (1000m)
#1 – Whypeeo @ $3.80 – Bet Now
Whypeeo hasn’t won for awhile now but the talent is there. He finished second at Eagle Farm last start and that run holds him in good stead.
Team Edmonds still have a high opinion of the five-time winner and given the field he’s up against, he could get back into the winners’ enclosure.
Race 3. (12:53) Country Music Raceday BM75 (2400m)
#5 – Makdanife @ $4.60 – Bet Now
Makdanife didn’t get a fair chance to win last time out and we’re prepared to give him another chance.
The Chris Waller-trained seven-year-old was ridden upside down when running last of eight runners at Gold Coast last week.
However, his form in Sydney warrants attention and Brad Stewart takes over the riding duties.
Race 4. (13:28) Big Screen On The Green C6 (1815m)
#3 – Looks Like Elvis @ $1.75 – Bet Now
That was an easy win for Looks Like Elvis last start when scoring by 2.3 lengths on this track last start.
The five-year-old has finished in the money in 16 of his 27 starts and that consistency has rewarded punters throughout his career.
This race is there for the taking and punters will come for the short odds on offer.
Race 5. (14:03) Ariat Country Music Rodeo Handicap (1400m)
#9 – So Spirited @ $3.80 – Bet Now
So Spirited comes into this with a last-start win at Ipswich and that could help his confidence going forward.
The Steven O’Dea-trained six-year-old doesn’t win back-to-back races all that often, but he’s still improving and there are no standout bets in this race.
Drops nicely in weight to 54kg with an apprentice claim on top of that, which could ensure he gets every chance to win.
Race 6. (14:42) Melb Cup Day @ Eagle Farm Handicap (1000m)
#1 – Jagged Edge @ $2.80 – Bet Now
Jagged Edge was beaten last start but certainly not disgraced when running fifth behind Dubious.
The Stuart Kendrick-trained runner had won his two starts prior to that, with wins coming at Sunshine Coast and Eagle Farm.
He has been prepared for this run with a trial win at Sunshine Coast and drawing barrier four looks ideal for this return.
Money should come for him on race day.
Race 7. (15:22) Chairman’s BM70 (1200m)
#13 – Drumadoir @ $9 – Bet Now
Good value on offer with Drumadoir, which has three wins and five placings from 12 starts.
The five-year-old mare looked good at times throughout last season and that included a win at very skinny odds at Sunshine Coast. She paid $1.18 to win and punters are getting much better odds this time around.
Could return a winner and the $9 appeals.
Race 8. (16:02) BRC C3 Plate (1400m)
#8 – Our Girl Silke @ $4.20 – Bet Now
Our Girl Silke has winning claims after improving to run fourth last start and she has upside.
The Schweida-trained daughter of Alamosa was only two lengths behind the winner on this track last start and form out of that race should stack up nicely.
There is some risk in backing her here, but punters are getting odds worth taking.
Race 9. (16:42) Events At BRC Handicap (1400m)
#6 – Reckless Choice @ $8 – Bet Now
Nice value with Reckless Choice, which ran well enough for fifth fresh up to warrant attention here.
The O’Dea-trained five-year-old is a winner of five from 18 starts and he could add another top performance here.
He’s a past winner at Eagle Farm and with more fitness under his belt, he looms as a major winning hope.
