Eagle Farm horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:08) Magic Millions Insurance C3 (1800m)

#11 – Starbuster @ $5.50 – Bet Now

Robert Heathcote lines up the four-year-old gelding that is coming off a win at Doomben.

The son of Chosen to Fly has won only two from his 16 starts but is rarely too far away from the prize.

He comes into this with some confidence and punters are getting value odds once again, after he paid $6 to win last start.

Race 2. (12:47) TAB BM75 (1500m)

#11 – Ziemba @ $2.40 – Bet Now

Ziemba is a quality type that looked beaten in the straight last start but really got going late to score by two lengths.

The three-year-old gelding improved his record to three wins from six starts. He is likely to rise through the grades and although drawing barrier 12 isn’t ideal, he has good barrier speed.

Robbie Fradd takes the ride and most of the money has come for the talented type.

Race 3. (13:27) Magic Millions Handicap (1200m)

#11 – Boomtown Lass @ $6 – Bet Now

Boomtown Lass scored a quality half-length win at Doomben last month before running fourth at Eagle Farm last start.

The four-year-old was the favourite on that occasion but she didn’t lose too many admirers with the result.

Punters are getting much better odds now and with 54kg and Glen Boss on her back, she’s a great value chance.

Race 4. (14:07) Magic Millions Shoot Out (2200m)

#1 – The Candy Man @ $2.15 – Bet Now

Barry Baldwin lines up the six-year-old which has found form this season and has been well backed to win again.

The son of Casino Prince returned to winning form with a 2.3-length win at Eagle Farm last start and he could go back-to-back.

Draws nicely in barrier six and most of the early money has been put on.

Race 5. (14:47) Magic Millions Vo Rogue Plate (1400m)

#1 – Alligator Blood @ $1.55 – Bet Now

Alligator Blood is all class and punters are actually getting good odds for the gelding.

He’s a winner of six from seven starts and his only defeat came when running a nose behind the winner in the Group 1 Guineas.

He cruised home to victory last start at Eagle Farm and we’re expecting him to score another comfortable win here.

Race 6. (15:27) B.J McLachlan Stakes (1200m)

#4 – Blondeau @ $3 – Bet Now

Blondeau didn’t lose any admirers when running second on debut and that came behind a subsequent winner.

The colt by I Am Invincible finished a half-length behind Aim, which has since scored an impressive win.

He’s an exciting type in the making and connections have chosen to take on a harder field, which is always a good sign.

$3 is a fair price from bookmakers.

Race 7. (16:07) Bernborough Handicap (1600m)

#2 – Sambro @ $4.60 – Bet Now

Sambro is all class and should be able to push most of these close here.

The Chris Waller-trained five-year-old is only a three-time winner but he has won over $720,000 and has been competitive in some big races.

Getting into this race like only 57.5kg on his back is a bonus and punters should be happy with the odds on offer.

Race 8. (16:47) The Buffering (1400m)

#2 – Tyzone @ $6.50 – Bet Now

Tyzone is a runner that needs time to warm up and he could have put the writing on the wall last start.

The Edmonds-trained six-year-old is a professional winner of 16 races and that’s a record which is tough to ignore.

Drawing wide won’t be an issue as he likes to drop back and storm home late. He finished off nicely at Eagle Farm last start and a similar run takes him close.

$6.50 on offer and punters will likely take that.

Race 9. (17:30) Nudgee Stakes (1200m)

#3 – Multaja @ $4.60 – Bet Now

We’re prepared to give Multaja another chance after a solid run for fourth last time out.

The James Cummings-trained four-year-old is a five-time winner from 17 starts that went within a half-length of the win last start.

Her only run on this track didn’t produce anything but she has a good turn-of-foot and should be considered to win.
