Eagle Farm horse racing tips
Race 1. (11:10) Ascot Green BM80 (2200m)
#3 – Seentoomany – Bet Now
Seentoomany couldn’t get the better of Advance Warning last start but she shouldn’t have lost any admirers.
She fought nicely to the line and prior to that she won a good race at Gold Coast. She’s a six-time winner that gets a good run from the draw and that bodes well for a nice race.
Many of these runners have already faced each other this season, so it should be another competitive affair.
Race 2. (11:45) Tab BM90 (1400m)
#4 – Soxagon – Bet Now
Soxagon is a lovely type as his record suggests and he won with something in hand at Gold Coast last time out.
The four-year-old by Rocker has now won five of his 14 starts and he has hit his straps nicely this time in work.
He is now facing a field with plenty of quality types, but we’re happy to back him in. Punters should get better odds than usual with this runner and they’re worth taking.
Race 3. (12:20) Mullins Lawyers BM75 (1200m)
#16 – Stylish Saga – Bet Now
Stylish Saga flashed home for fourth behind Plenty last start and there was plenty to like about that performance.
He relies on luck quite a bit, but there looks to be good speed throughout this race and he could storm over the top once again.
The son of Real Saga is a past winner on this track and if everything goes right in the run, watch for him to finish best down the outside.
Race 4. (12:55) Thank You BRC Members C6 Plate (1815m)
#12 – Milk Man @ $3.70 – Bet Now
Milk Man had his chance to deliver last start but was ousted by Gresham. However, he gets every chance to turn the tables at the weights.
The imported runner drops down to 55.5kg for this run and that could easily be enough to turn consistent form into winning form.
He has come up the favourite in early betting markets and that’s not surprising given his natural ability.
Race 5. (13:35) Alan Shuck BM85 (1000m)
#6 – Jami Lady @ $2.50 – Bet Now
The Steven O’Dea-trained mare hits the ground running with two fresh up wins from three attempts.
She scored an opening win at Sunshine Coast last preparation and backed that up with a win at Eagle Farm. It’s good form for this race and she deserves to be favourite.
The inside draw is ideal and although there are some quick types in this race, she’s one of them.
Race 6. (14:15) Rough Habit Plate (2200m)
#3 – Supergiant @ $3.90 – Bet Now
Supergiant defeated a similar field at Eagle Farm last start and there’s no reason why he can’t win again.
The three-year-old had finished second behind Vanna Girl prior to that, so he had good form lines coming into that race.
He has time to find cover after drawing barrier 11 and we don’t see why there is such a big difference between his odds and Ballistic Boy’s.
Race 9. (16:15) Nuturf Mick Dittman Plate (1000m)
#5 – Niedorp @ $3.10 – Bet Now
Niedorp has explosive pace from the barrier and she doesn’t draw nearly as wide as she did last time out.
She was forced to do too much work from barrier 13 at Gold Coast and coming back to Eagle Farm is an ideal situation.
The daughter of Not a Single Doubt owns three wins from 13 starts and she has plenty of ability at this level.
$3.10 is a fair price and those odds are worth taking.
