Gunning for consecutive wins is Ceekay’s Choice, who broke maidens with a 1.5-length win as a $1.50 favourite.
The Tony Gollan-trained mare should have a lot of betting support for Wednesday’s race, despite facing a field with more depth.
Angela Jones rides off the inside draw, so she gets things in her favour.

Southern Money is a former Victorian runner with a win and three placings, and that form measures up nicely in Queensland.
Now with Robert Heathcote, the four-year-old mare looks to win her stable debut, and her recent trial form includes a placing at Doomben.
Money on race day will be telling and she should go close.
Stake: 1.5 Unit
Knocking on the door of a win is Tulong, who placed twice at Eagle Farm and once at Sunshine Coast this season.
The four-year-old son of Saxon Warrior was a short margin behind the winner as a $1.85 favourite last start, and punters will stick with him.
He’s one of the better bets on the card.

Hidden Future wasn’t far away when running second on debut at Gold Coast, and she should only be better for the experience.
The three-year-old filly by Impending will need a touch of luck from a wide draw, but having Jones riding helps her chances.
Punters should get each-way odds on race day.

Better for two runs back from a spell is Easy Love, who ran second at Doomben in heavy conditions last start.
The four-year-old mare by Love Conquers All was beaten by a nose as a $1.60 chance, so punters should load up again.
60kg isn’t easy to carry, but class is enough to take her close.
Stake: 2.5 Units
David Vandyke and Ryan Maloney have a good chance to go back-to-back. Lost His Beans measures up well after running fourth at Doomben fresh up.
He won his only second-up start, and rising in distance to 1400m only helps his cause after finding the line well over 1200m.
His ability is enough to see him carry the weight to victory.

Subterrain was too good for them at Ipswich last start, and he looks set for another top performance.
The four-year-old son of Territories comes from an in-form stable, and getting Maloney to ride adds to our confidence levels.
Barrier three is ideal, so we’re confident of another good effort.
