There’s some great thoroughbred racing action this Saturday at Caulfield and Rosehill where three Group one races take centre stage.
The Blue Diamond Stakes is one of the biggest two-year-old races in Australia and one of the more even fields in recent history has been presented.
The Oakleigh Plate follows at Caulfield where the likes of She Will Reign, Russian Revolution and Snitty Kitty will do battle.
The Futurity Stakes is just another quality race on the Caulfield card where the sprinters will light up the track.
Rosehill also hosts the Hobartville Stakes which sees a competitive field line up for Group 2 honours.
It’s going to be a great day of racing and we have free tips and form for the best races across both cards.

Caulfield free tips & form
Race 1. (12:30) Mornington Cup Prelude (2000m)
#1 – Almandin @ $4.20 – BET NOW
Melbourne Cup winner Almandin makes a rare summer/autumn appearance this Saturday and it’s hard to overlook his form last campaign.
Now trained by Liam Howley, the eight-year-old has had only 17 starts for six wins, but he scored an emphatic win at Flemington in September before eventually running 12th in the Melbourne Cup courtesy of a poor ride from Frankie Dettori.
He has placed in four of his five starts fresh up and he’s an interesting runner to kick off the card.
Race 4. (14:15) Angus Armanasco Stakes (1400m)
#4 – Miss Wahoo @ $7.50 – BET NOW
There’s good value with Miss Wahoo at $7.50 considering her form this campaign.
The Tony McEvoy-trained three-year-old has won consecutive races at Morphettville and although that form is a step below that in Melbourne, she did beat subsequent winner Freeze Over.
This is a hot field with form at various levels but punters are getting each way odds for Miss Wahoo.
Race 5. (14:50) Premier Signs Mannerism Stakes (1400m)
#1 – Silent Sedition @ $2.10 – BET NOW
Silent Sedition is on the drift after opening at $1.85, but punters are getting better value at the current price.
The Andrew Noblet-trained mare finished a disappointing fifth last start at Caulfield, but her form typically improves second-up and although she hasn’t won in 11 months, she has been running solid races.
With over $1 million in stakes earning, Silent Sedition is the class of the field and she should make her presence known in this field.
Race 9. (17:25) Peter Young Handicap (1800m)
#2– Gailo Chop @ $3.50 – BET NOW
Gailo Chop is an international-quality thoroughbred which scored an impressive 1.3-length victory at Caulfield last start.
The Darren Weir-trained seven-year-old finished fifth in the Cox Plate behind Winx and although he didn’t fire at Flemington following that run, he was much better last time out.
Taking on the likes of Hartnell and The Taj Mahal won’t be easy, but he’s a professional type which punters have made plenty of profit from.
Rosehill free tips & form
Race 1. (12:45) Tab Highway Handicap (1100m)
#4– Try A Lil Harder @ $3.30 – BET NOW
Rodney Northam lines up the four-year-old mare which went too hard in front last start at Warwick Farm.
The mare was too keen in front with jockey Racheal Murray in the saddle, but there has been a jockey change and that should help her here.
She should get every chance from barrier two and this race is no harder than what she faced last time out.
Race 3. (14:00) Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m)
#7 – Estijaab @ $2.70 – BET NOW
Going up against Magic Millions winner Sunlight will be a tough task, but the money has come strongly for the Hawkes-trained runner.
The two-year-old filly was a four-length winner on debut at Randwick and that was a stunning victory. She hasn’t been seen for a month, but she won by a length at the trials and that’s a great preparation for this.
She opened at $3.10 and has been hammered into $2.70 as soon as markets opened, which is a telling sign for punters.
Race 5. (15:10) Millie Fox Stakes (1300m)
#2 – Foxplay @ $5 – BET NOW
Chris Waller lines up Foxplay, which has a good fresh up record and she will enjoy not racing against the top liners.
The five-time winner placed twice behind stablemate Winx last season before running fourth behind Happy Clapper and fifth behind Shoals.
She has good natural pace and jumping from barrier three is ideal. Punters should expect Hugh Bowman to settle her in a forward position and be tough to run down in the straight.
Race 7. (16:25) Hobartville Stakes (1400m)
#3 – Kementari @ $2.35 – BET NOW
Kementari was a brilliant winner fresh up last start and he looks to have more wins in store this season.
Trained by James Cummings, the three-year-old was confidently backed last start and the money was spot on.
He has drifted out a fraction in the betting so far, but he looks to have matured nicely with the break under his belt and another win looks likely.
Race 8. (17:05) Schweppes BM95 (1100m)
#3 – Memes @ $7 – BET NOW
This is a wide-open field and there’s good value with Memes.
The speedy customer was a brilliant winner fresh up at Randwick and although she hasn’t won in two starts since, those runs have come against the likes of Trapeze Artist and Prompt Response.
Rachel Hunt is a good front-running jockey and she will likely jump and run over the short-course distance.
