Flemington Racing Tips for Saturday, July 4th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Flemington on Saturday, which includes nine races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (11:55) Next Generation Sprinters Series Final (1200m)

#4 – Stars of Dom @ $2.00

Looking to cap off consecutive second placings is Stars of Dom, who ran second in both attempts at Sandown.

The two-year-old filly by Exceedance was only 1.5 lengths behind the winner last time out, and natural improvement takes her close.

She opened at $2.35, so money has come thick and fast.

Stake: 2Units

Race 2. (12:30) Taj Rossi Series Final (1600m)

#3 – Star of Macedon @ $3.30

Star of Macedon had the flashing light on after running third at Flemington, and he was hitting the line with purpose.

Rising in distance adds to his appeal, and the two-year-old colt by Zoustar shouldn’t take long to score a breakthrough win.

This looks like an ideal target, so include him in picks.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (13:05) Shore Goggles Leilani Series Final (1400m)

#6 – Stylish @ $4.40

It was a stylish win from Stylish last time out, who cruised past them at Flemington when beating a similar field.

The five-year-old mare by Lonhro loves racing at Flemington with five starts for two wins and three placings, so she can’t be left out.

Punters get each-way odds, so include in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (13:40) Sharp EIT Mahogany Challenge Final (2500m)

#14 – Kings Reflection @ $3.00

King’s Reflection looks destined to be a quality stayer, and rising to 2500m looks ideal for the Taige Weir-trained runner.

He got too far back at Flemington last time out in heavy conditions, but we like the way he hit the line over the last 100m.

Rising to 2500m is ideal, so expect him to finish off impressively.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (14:15) Santa Ana Lane Sprint Series Final (1200m)

#2 – De Bergerac @ $4.40

We love betting on De Bergerac down the Flemington, straight, and he didn’t let us down with a last-start victory.

The five-year-old son of Zoustar is a three-time winner down the straight, and he keeps finding close to the line every time.

Barrier seven is ideal, and he should be tough to hold out.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (14:55) Banjo Paterson Series Final (2600m)

#2 – The Western Front @ $4.60

We have consistently backed The Western Front this season, and the five-year-old stayer hasn’t let us down.

He has three wins from his last five starts, including a win and a placing at Flemington, so he’s worth backing at each-way odds.

He’s an adaptable type, so expect him to settle handy and give a kick down the long straight.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:30) VRC-CRV Winter Championship Series Final (1600m)

#8 – Electric Impulse @ $6.50

We’re taking the each-way odds for Electric Impulse, who ran third at Swan Hill last start, and returning to Flemington is ideal.

The six-year-old mare by Cable Bay is a two-time winner at Flemington, and she enjoys having a long straight to warm up.

54kg on her back is enough to take her close in an even race.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:10) A.R. Creswick Stakes (1200m)

#13 – Chains of Love @ $3.60

Chains of Love comes from New South Wales with three wins from five starts, and it’s good seeing her tackle stakes company.

The three-year-old filly by I Am Invincible comes off a win at Randwick, and although the level of opposition wasn’t strong, she won in style.

Jamie Melham rides, and she should run well.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 9. (16:40) Silver Bowl Series Final (1600m)

#9 – The Mean Fiddler @ $10.00

Patrick Payne lines up The Mean Fiddler, who ran second at Bendigo last time out, which is a tidy form guide for this race.

The three-year-old son of Highland Reel is fitter after two runs back from a spell, and getting down to 54kg makes him tough to hold out.

Take the value odds available with bookmakers.

Stake: 1 Unit
