Flemington Racing Tips for Saturday, June 20th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Flemington on Saturday, which includes nine races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (11:55) Tab We’re On Handicap (1420m)

#4 – Star of Macedon @ $6.50

Punters get each-way odds for Star of Macedon, who ran second on debut at Seymour before placing at Caulfield in heavy conditions.

The two-year-old colt by Zoustar will need luck from a wide barrier, but he could find cover and hit the line with purpose.

We’re happy with the current odds from bookmakers.

Stake: 1Unit

Race 2. (12:25) Ken Cox Handicap (2000m)

#10 – Kings Reflection @ $8.50

Kings Reflection hit the line well for second at Swan Hill last start, and rising to 2000m at Flemington looks ideal.

The Taige Weir-trained gelding has yet to run worse than second from three starts, and he looks good enough to handle city racing.

The odds are generous, so include him in picks as a value bet.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (13:00) Country Racing It’s Got it All Handicap (2540m)

#5 – The Western Front @ $5.50

The Western Front is a proven stayer, and he could have a big staying win in his future.

He owns seven wins from 18 starts, including a tough win at Sandown last time out, which is a good form guide for this race.

He’s a past winner at Flemington, and having a long straight to warm up only helps his chances.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (13:35) Rod Johnson Handicap (1100m)

#1 – Ice Kool @ $1.95

We are surprised to see Ice Kool running at Flemington having won at Randwick last start, but he should enjoy running down the straight.

The three-year-old gelding by Zoustar made a winning return this preparation to score easily, and that should be an excellent form guide.

His only defeat came to Group 1 performer Grafterburners, so his form stacks up well.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 5. (14:10) Country Achiever Cindy Alderson BM84 (1420m)

#14 – Thebelmontgangster @ $4.20

Thebelmontgangster finally showed something in Australia when scoring at Sandown in heavy conditions, and he could kick on with it.

The four-year-old import relished the wet track conditions, and he should get conditions to suit on Saturday in what is currently a soft-rated circuit.

Barrier four is ideal, and punters get each-way odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (14:45) Bruce Gadsden BM90 (1420m)

#8 – First Chorus @ $3.30

First Chorus settled back and reeled them in easily last time out, and although she’d love a heavy surface, soft conditions are still favourable.

The four-year-old mare is already a two-time winner this preparation, and with five wins and three placings from 11 starts, she is a nice type in the making.

55.5kg on her back is enough to take her close.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (15:25) Brian Beattie Handicap (1100m)

#6 – De Bergerac @ $4.20

De Bergerac might not be suited by the low draw down the straight, but he loves straight racing at Flemington.

The five-year-old son of Zoustar was desperately unlucky not to win at Randwick two back, and he found the line well for second at Flemington last start.

He’s a gun over this trip, so take the each-way odds.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (16:00) The David Bourke Handicap (1620m)

#3 – Saint George @ $6.00

Looking to score a fresh up win is Saint George, who finished fourth at Flemington before heading out for a spell.

Kicking off over 1620m should be ideal for the son of Roaring Lion, and although he’d love firmer track conditions, he should run well.

The $6 odds could shorten on race day, so include at each-way odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (16:35) Country Racing Victoria Trophy (1620m)

#3 – Flying Done @ $6.50

Flying Done should be fitter after two runs this preparation, including a second placing at Flemington.

The three-year-old son of Kermadec owns three wins and two placings from eight starts, and there is nothing wrong with that record.

It’s an even field, so include him at value odds.

Stake: 1 Unit
