We’re going with a runner with race experience in Free Flying, who hit the line nicely on debut at Caulfield.
The Hayes-trained filly by Snitzel should appreciate getting a wider draw down the straight, and she could be an underrated type.
We’re happy with the odds available from bookmakers.

Sabaj is one of our better bets on the Champions Day after he was scratched from racing due to the track on Melbourne Cup Day.
The four-year-old gelding owns three wins and two second placings, and he didn’t get all favours behind Linebacker in a hot race at Randwick
That is Group 1 form, and he should put this field away.
Stake: 1 Unit
De Bergerac often goes under the radar with bookmakers, but he has form around Persian Spirit, who scored easily at Flemington on Tuesday.
The Graeme Begg-trained gelding owns five wins and five placings, including two wins down the Flemington straight.
He’s a straight specialist, so he should prove tough to hold out.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Boasting six wins and three placings from nine starts, She’s a Hustler keeps delivering, and we’re happy to keep backing her.
The Begg-trained mare came from New Zealand with good form, and she has lived up to expectations with wins Flemington and Moonee Valley.
She has drawn to get cover, and she could let down impressively in the straight.
Stake: 2 Units
Birdman comes off a sixth in the Caulfield Cup. He has been lumped with 60kg for this race, but he’s good enough to carry it to victory.
The five-year-old son of Free Eagle has yet to run at Flemington surprisingly, and it’s a track that should suit his racing pattern.
There is solid value with the $5.50 odds.

Sweethearted has had one run at Flemington, and he didn’t win or place, but this could be his ideal track now.
The four-year-old hasn’t had the best of luck when going around corners and running down the straight off a wide draw gives him every chance to win.
We’re happy to give him another chance, especially at the current price.
Stake: 1.5 Units
