Race 2. (11:45) Carpet One Tiling Maiden (1300m)
#4 – Conversations @ $4.20 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Conversations is getting close to a win after posting three consecutive placings and he deserves a win.
The Derek Piper-trained son of Territories owns two placings from two starts at Dubbo and there is little wrong with that form going forward.
1.5kg comes off his back and this isn’t a strong maiden field.
Race 4. (12:55) O’Brien Electrical Dubbo C3 (1000m)
#1 – Akaka Falls @ $3.40 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Akaka Falls scored a win at Wellington two back and he followed it up with a second placing at Dubbo.
The four-year-old gelding was under a length behind the winner and it’s the second time he has placed on the track.
He loves the distance and getting 2kg off his back helps.
Race 7. (14:45) Kings Hall Jewellers Maiden (1600m)
#5 – Mojo Classic @ $3.10 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Mojo Classic has been confidently backed throughout the week and his form has consistently improved.
The three-year-old son of Shamus Award has been primed with a trial placing at Scone and he only needs to cope with the wide draw.
The former Chris Waller-trained runner shouldn’t take long to win.
Race 9. (16:05) Wellington Cup (1600m)
#4 – Sibaaq @ $3 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Annabel Neasham lines up the four-year-old gelding who owns four wins and seven placings.
The son of Dark Angel comes off a second placing at Gold Coast behind Seleque and that’s an excellent form guide.
Having Tommy Berry in the saddle is a bonus, so put him on top.

Race 1. (13:00) Sportsbet Bet with Mates Maiden (1400m)
#6 – Bad Influence @ $1.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Bad Influence is getting close to breaking through after posting four placings from six career starts.
The four-year-old mare by Contributer wasn’t far away when running fourth at Stawell and we’re not surprised by the odds.
It’s a short quote but she could get punters off to a winning start.
Race 3. (14:00) Austrim Civil Maiden (1200m)
#11 – Waterworld @ $2.70 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
The Peter Moody-trained two-year-old has faced some tough fields to date and he should find this much easier.
He finished fourth on debut at Flemington behind Lofty Strike and that form has since stacked up nicely.
We thought his odds would have been shorter and we’re not worried about the wide barrier as he has good tactical pace.
Race 5. (15:00) Jaxon’s Journey BM58 (2200m)
#3 – Badiss @ $5.50 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Badiss scored a good win at Sale two back and he wasn’t far away at Mornington last time out.
The three-year-old son of Dissident has to carry a big weight at this level, but he’s not weighted too badly compared to the rest of the field.
Punters get each-way odds and barrier four should see him land in a good position.
Race 6. (15:30) Evergreen Turf BM64 (1600m)
#5 – Copperfield @ $2.30 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Value is with Copperfield, who owns a win and two placings from three career starts.
The four-year-old gelding won at Ballarat two back before finishing second at Bendigo and he handles all track conditions.
His opening odds of $2.80 have been taken and he could start even shorter with the weight of money to come.
