We have expert betting tips for the cards this Friday at Cranbourne and Moree.
There is plenty of value available with bookmakers at the Friday meetings and we have our best bets across the cards.
Race 2. (17:45) Designer Coolrooms Maiden (1400m)
#11 – Inviva @ $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Inviva wasn’t too far away at Pakenham last start on an unsuitable heavy track. That form should stack up well enough at this level, and she gets conditions to suit here.
The daughter of Rich Enuff finished third at Geelong prior to that, and anything close to that effort should be enough.
$3.50 is a price worth the risk.
Race 3. (18:15) Settlers Run Maiden (1600m)
#10 – My Brilliant Choix @ $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looking to cap off consistent form is My Brilliant Choux, who enters with three consecutive placings.
The Corstens-trained mare owns five wins from nine starts, and despite not being able to win, she isn’t doing much wrong.
Barrier five is ideal, so include here.
Race 5. (19:15) Frankston Mazda Maiden (1600m)
#8 – Hollywood Siren @ $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Hollywood Siren finished fourth on debut at Donald before running second at Benalla last time out.
That form is good enough to be competitive against this company, and the daughter of Starspangledbanner is in good hands.
We expect the $3 to firm on race day.
Race 6. (19:45) Hertz Cranbourne BM70 (2080m)
#8 – Peace Process @ $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Peace Process owns two wins and four placings from eight starts, so she has made a consistent start to her career.
The four-year-old daughter of Reliable Man gets in with a luxury weight of 55.5kg, so we’re not surprised by the odds available.
She looks like a good chance of scoring consecutive wins.
Race 1. (13:04) Amaroo Tavern C1 (1600m)
#3 – Without Shame @ $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Bookmakers are respecting Without Shame after he finished second at Coonamble last time out.
The four-year-old son of Shamus Award was only a length behind the winner, and it followed a solid run in the Highway Handicap at Rosehill.
That form stacks up nicely against this company.
Race 3. (14:14) Jolly Swagman Hotel Maiden (1300m)
#11 – Den Moss @ $3.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Den Moss is on debut after some pleasing efforts at the trials. The three-year-old owns three placings from four trials, which is good to see.
He comes off a trial placing at Muswellbrook, and drawing barrier two should see him land on the speed and go close.
It could pay to watch for late betting moves with this runner.
Race 5. (15:24) Tourist Hotel Narrabri C2 (1300m)
#8 – Hey Wayne @ $7.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Hey Wayne scored a win at Armidale two back by 2.3 lengths, before running second at Grafton last time out.
The five-year-old son of Dream Ballard was only a half-length behind the winner, so he wasn’t far off scoring back-to-back wins.
Punters get lovely odds this time around, so stick with him.
Race 7. (16:44) The Pally Pub BM58 (950m)
#6 – Persian Queen @ $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Persian Queen scored a win on debut at Moree, so we’re looking at that form as the best betting guide.
The four-year-old mare followed it up with a sixth at Gunnedah, but she was only 2.7 lengths behind the winner in a close contest.
Punters get each-way value odds to enjoy.
