Gawler horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:52) GJ Civil BM62 (1100m)

#6 – Rodeo @ $3.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Rodeo already owns two wins this preparation and we like her chances of winning again on Saturday.

The three-year-old filly by Reward for Effort scored at Morphettville two back and she won her only start at Gawler.

3kg comes off her back and she should be ready to fire.

Race 2. (13:32) Matrix Solar Solutions BM62 (1500m)

#3 – Penwortham @ $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Penwortham capped off solid form with a win at Gawler and we like his chance to go back-to-back.

The three-year-old son of Kiss and Make Up hit the line nicely last time out and that is a good run for the future.

We’re happy with the $3.80 available.

Race 3. (14:07) Bronwen Darrall Memorial C1 (1200m)

#3 – Got the Style @ $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Got the Style got the job done three back at Ballarat and that form stacks up nicely in Adelaide.

The four-year-old mare finished second at Morphettville last time out and we like her chances of going one better.

Getting 3kg off her back is ideal, so put her on top.

Race 4. (14:42) L.J Hooker Property BM76 (2100m)

#2 – Fighter @ $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The five-year-old is a two-time winner and seven-time placegetter, so the form is on the board.

He showed good form in Melbourne before winning at Murray Bridge last start and this level of opposition suits him.

Punters will have to take short odds, but the $2 is fair.

Race 5. (15:17) Holdfast Insurance Broker BM68 (1200m)

#5 – Our Deep Agenda @ $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Our Deep Agenda is searching for four wins on the bounce and that form is tough to overlook.

The five-year-old son of Deep Field scored at Morphettville last start and he also owns two wins and a placing at Gawler.

Track experience is important, so put him on top.

Race 6. (15:52) Coopers Brewery BM82 (1100m)

#2 – Terbium @ $3.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Terbium isn’t the easiest horse to follow, but the six-year-old is talented on his day.

The son of Terango scored a win at his only start at Gawler, so that bodes well, and his win two back is a good form guide.

Barrier two is ideal and the early money has come for him.

Race 7. (16:32) Tab BM60 (1100m)

#2 – Tanja’s Dream @ $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Tanja’s Dream kicked off her last campaign with three consecutive wins and we like her chances here.

The four-year-old daughter of Dream Ahead has yet to miss a win or placing at the distance, and getting 3kg off her back is ideal.

$5 is well worth taking against this level of opposition.

Race 8. (17:12) Sir Pracealot BM68 (1200m)

#10 – Free of Sin @ $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Free of Sin is paying generous odds with bookmakers and she could get back to her best form on Saturday.

The four-year-old runs her best races over this distance and with only 54kg on her back from barrier two, there are no excuses.

Consider at the price.

Race 9. (17:50) Trimboli Services BM60 (1500m)

#6 – Toyz on Fire @ $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Ability is in the camp of Toyz on Fire, who looked good when winning fresh up at Ballarat.

Her form since has been solid without being great, but racing at Gawler should suit her nicely.

With the claimer in the saddle, we expect her odds to firm.
