Geelong Racing Tips for Thursday, June 4th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Geelong on Thursday, which includes nine races at the quality meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (12:30) Ladbrokes Hosted Pots Maiden (1212m)

#1 – Bourne Legacy @ $5.00

Punters get each-way odds in the opening race with Bourne Legacy, who wasn’t far away when fifth on debut at Caulfield.

The two-year-old son of Nicconi ran behind Vega Vixen in open company, and dropping to midweek racing should only help his cause.

Take the $5 odds before late bets come his way.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (13:00) Mirnee Electrical Solutions Maiden (1212m)

#2 – Bold Secret @ $3.10

Bold Secret was the beaten odds-on favourite at Pakenham last time out, but we’re giving him another chance.

He didn’t let down with much in the straight, and the jockey reported that he never travelled, so he should bounce back with something better.

He has drawn wide, but luck should take him close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (13:30) Oasis Turf Maiden (1412m)

#4 – Fear the Impact @ $23.00

The big odds for Fear the Impact are worth taking, and he’s going under the radar with bookmakers.

The three-year-old son of Fierce Impact looked good when placing at Pakenham fresh up, and although beaten twice since, he wasn’t far away from the winner.

$23 makes him worth the risk in an even field.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (14:00) Kelly Sports Geelong Maiden (1715m)

#5 – Tennesseetwopiece @ $6.50

We liked the way Tennesseetwopiece battled for a close second placing at Kilmore, and he should get through the conditions.

The three-year-old son of Soul Patch received a car park draw in barrier 18, but he has time to find cover if he pushes either forward or settles back.

His maiden win won’t be far away, so take the each-way odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (14:30) Naked Home Loans BM62 (1715m)

#11 – Baywatch @ $4.40

Baywatch should be improved with two runs under her belt this preparation, and money has started to come for the mare.

The daughter of Ocean Park showed ability when breaking maidens at Sale by 2.3 lengths, so if she’s close to that, she should run well.

She is worth another chance at generous odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15:00) Geelong and Coastal Hire BM62 (2418m)

#5 – Shultzy @ $16.00

It’s a wide-open race, so we’ve gone for a bit of value with Shultzy at $16, who should be fitter after three runs this campaign.

The eight-year-old is a two-time winner at Geelong, so having track success is ideal, and it’s only the distance stats that are against him.

Barrier two is ideal, and he could be ridden more positively.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:30) Associated Cold Tread Tyres BM62 (1112m)

#2 – Ludlum @ $2.70

Ludlum had backing at Flemington last time out when running down the track, but that came in a much stronger field than what he faces here.

The three-year-old son of Rich Enuff was unlucky on debut at Ballarat before winning at Seymour by 1.8 lengths, and kicking off at BM62 is ideal.

There is a minor concern about track conditions, but class could take him close.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 8. (16:00) JP Air Conditioning BM62 (1312m)

#7 – Rogue Warrior @ $4.60

Punters get each-way odds for Rogue Warrior, who owns a win and two placings from five starts, including a third placing at Sale last start.

The three-year-old son of Prague opened at $6.50 before firming considerably, and the money could be well-placed.

Mark Zahra rides, which adds to our confidence levels.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (16:30) Ladbrokes Geelong Cup on Sale Now BM62 (1312m)

#11 – Russian Duchess @ $5.00

Looking to make an impact in her second campaign is Russian Duchess, who scored a win and a placing in two starts at Sandown last time in.

The Ciaron Maher-trained filly looks ready to fire after winning a jumpout, and getting 2kg off her back is enough to take her close.

Take the odds before late money comes for her.

Stake: 1.5 Units
