Team Freedman lines up Caffettiera, who is on debut for the powerful Godolphin operation.
The three-year-old filly by Too Darn Hot wasn’t asked for much in a recent Caulfield trial, and she’s bred to show early speed.
Having Blake Shinn riding is the best form guide, so put her on top.

Irreverent didn’t fire on debut at Geelong when running sixth, but she improved nicely to finish third at Sandown last time out.
The three-year-old filly by I Am Invincible enjoyed the rise in distance to 1300m, and although she ran as a $151 chance, she was way over the odds.
She comes from a good stable, and we’re happy with the odds available.

Looking to go one better than his debut second placing is Savisanta, who ran second at Geelong behind Decanted.
It was a good effort for her debut run, and the form has checked out well since, so we’re happy to include her in our picks.
Having a strong rider in Ben Melham in the saddle is another bonus.

Olivia Rose has improved with every run under her belt, culminating with a third placing at Mornington.
The four-year-old mare by Written Tycoon is bred to win races this spring, and she will only improve with the run under her belt.
It’s a tricky field, but the each-way odds make her a worthwhile bet.

Punters had to settle for second when backing Visual at Sandown last start, but she has a excellent chance to strike back.
The mare by I Am Invincible showed good pace when winning on debut at Hawkesbury, and that form is good enough to win in Victoria.
It’s another good ride for Shinn, who could have a big day at Geelong.

Shakib is better for two runs back from a spell, and rising to 2460m should see his best form return.
He won over 2000m last season, and although it wasn’t a strong field, the eight-year-old is good enough to beat this midweek field.
The odds make him a worthwhile bet in a BM62 field.
Stake: 1 Unit
Seeking back-to-back wins is Tagline, who scored by just under a length at Mornington as a $1.55 favourite.
Punters get better odds this time around for the three-year-old son of Tagaloa, and he could rise through the grades in fine style.
If he gets luck from barrier 11, he could finish over the top of them.
Stake: 2 Units
Boasting a win and four placings is McAdam, who wasn’t too far away when fifth at Bendigo last time out.
The four-year-old son of Snitzel has yet to finish worse than third in three starts over the distance, so he should enjoy the 1540m distance.
It’s not a strong field, so he could take advantage.
