We have expert betting tips for the card this Wednesday at Grafton, which features eight quality betting races.
Grafton has a rare standalone New South Wales meeting and it should be a great day on the punt.
It’s always competitive racing at Grafton, which is why punters love betting there.
Grafton horse racing tips & form
Race 1. (14:00) Jacaranda Crown BM58 (1610m)
#1 – Bling ‘N’ Bubbles @ $2.45 – Bet Now
Matthew Dunn lines up the favourite, which was too good for them on this track last start.
The 1.8-length win was a good display of front-running and we’re expecting similar tactics from the inside barrier here.
She paid $2.75 to win last start, so the $2.45 on offer here is a good price considering.
Race 2. (14:35) Life Members Cup BM66 (1410m)
#3 – Royal Factor @ $2 – Bet Now
Royal Factor has looked good this season, winning two of his three starts. The first win came on this track when scoring by almost three lengths.
His most recent win came at Lismore when winning narrowly and that experience should see him fighting out the finish here.
It’s another quality runner for the Dunn stable and there has been a stack of money placed in the early markets.
Race 3. (15:10) Mark Bloomer Transport Maiden (1106m)
#8 – Tactical Move @ $2.45 – Bet Now
The Edmonds-trained colt is on debut here after scoring a recent trial win at Beaudesert.
He’s a son of Dissident which cost $200,000 at the sales and he will be the most experience colt in this race for sure.
Drawn well in barrier three and it’s good to see early support with bookmakers.
Race 4. (15:50) XXXX Gold Maiden (1106m)
#11 – Miss Whittington @ $8 – Bet Now
Three-year-old filly Miss Whittington ran solidly for fourth on debut and she has improvement to come.
The Lee-trained filly was only 2.1 lengths behind the winner and drawing barrier two should see her right around the mark here.
This is a competitive field and at $8, she’s worth taking the risk with.
Race 5. (16:30) Kensei Club C1 Plate (2220m)
#1 – Kingly @ $3.90 – Bet Now
Kingly isn’t far off a win after posting consecutive placings coming into this.
The Michael Costa-trained four-year-old has been in the money in three of its eight starts and drawing well helps.
He’ll jump from barrier two and given his recent placings coming into this, it’s only a matter of time before he wins again.
Chance and punters are getting nice enough odds.
Race 6. (17:05) The Maclean Jacaranda Maiden (1710m)
#2 – Miss Gem @ $2.90 – Bet Now
Miss Gem has been a little unlucky not to win so far from her three career starts.
The Costa-trained three-year-old finished third at Lismore last start and she wasn’t able to jump on terms, which put pay to her chances.
Drawing barrier two should help switch her on here and there is some good confidence in the market.
Likely to break through soon.
Race 7. (17:40) Pharmacy Jacaranda Cup (1106m)
#2 – Dream Master @ $3.10 – Bet Now
Dream Master is a six-time winner from 23 starts which could add to that record here.
Trained by Team Edmonds, the six-year-old gelding is a 4.5-length winner last time out and that was a nice bounce-back run.
He lost the rider in August and rebounding was key at Doomben last time out. He has since scored a trial win at Gold Coast and that adds to the appeal.
Race 8. (18:15) Grafton Gas & Plumbing BM58 (1206m)
#7 – Wu Long Shi @ $9 – Bet Now
Wu Long Shi was a good winner fresh up when scoring by a narrow margin at Grafton.
He hasn’t been able to fire up in two runs since, but he was close up at Grafton last start and that bodes well for this.
Punters are getting good odds and they could get double-figure odds come race day.
