gobet happy valley racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Happy Valley in Hong Kong on Wednesday, which includes nine races at the quality midweek meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Hong Kong racing feature, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (21:35) Celebrating 50 Years of the HK Sevens Handicap (1000m)

#5 – Macanese Master

Consistent form is with Macanese Master, who owns two wins and three placings from his last five starts.

The six-year-old son of Universal Ruler has turned his form around smartly this campaign, and he could have more success on Wednesday.

He gets the inside draw, which is enough to take him close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (22:05) Celebrating 40 Years of the HKFC Handicap (1650m)

#9 – Dragon Sunrise

There isn’t much form to recommend in this race, but Dragon Sunrise comes off a third placing at Happy Valley.

The five-year-old son of Frosted gets an ideal chance to score an overdue win at his 19th time of trying, and having Zac Purton riding helps.

We expect him to run well, so take the time.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (22:35) Winning Try Handicap (1650m)

#1 – Fantastic Fun

Looking to go one better than his last start is Fantastic Fun, who was a short margin behind the winner at Happy Valley.

The five-year-old son of Justify is a four-time winner from 18 starts, and some of his best form comes at this track.

It’s an even field, and he could take advantage to win.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (23:05) Successful Conversion Handicap (1800m)

#9 – Smart City

The six-year-old might be only a one-time winner at Happy Valley, but he wasn’t far away when running third last time out.

He doesn’t meet an overly strong field and getting in with 52.5kg with Karis Teetan riding should make him tough to hold out.

We’re happy to give him another chance at the odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (23:40) The Hong Kong China Rugby Cup (1650m)

#4 – Do Your Part

Do Your Part is doing his part with a win and nine placings from his last 10 starts, which is elite consistency in a tough racing atmosphere.

The Kiwi-bred runner deserves another win after four straight placings, and he doesn’t need to improve too much to beat this field.

Punters could get each-way odds on race night.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (00:10) Racing with Rugby Handicap (1200m)

#11 – Prestige Hall

Prestige Hall hopes to cap off three consecutive second placings with a win and we’re happy to back him.

The four-year-old son of Belardo has yet to win from eight starts, but with four second placings, it’s only a matter of time.

It’s another good ride for Purton, who could have a big night.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 7. (00:45) One City Two Passions Handicap (1200m)

#3 – Master Lucky

Looking to bounce back to form is Master Lucky, who scored on debut at Sha Tin before placing two starts back.

The four-year-old son of Shamus Award has yet to race at Happy Valley, but this level of racing should be right up his alley.

Barrier two is another positive, so include him in picks.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (01:15) Scrum Half Handicap (1650m)

#5 – Fivefortwo

Coming off a win at Happy Valley is Fivefortwo, who wasn’t tested when scoring by two lengths.

It was an impressive win from the $7.50 chance, and punters could get value each-way odds again against a slightly tougher field.

He likes Happy Valley, so he should run another good race.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (01:50) Golden Point Handicap (1200m)

#4 – Amazing Kid

Amazing Kid is already a four-time winner this preparation, so there is no reason to jump off his back.

The four-year-old son of Exceed and Excel was only a length behind the winner last start, so he could have made it five wins.

If he gets luck from out wide, he should figure in the finish.

Stake: 1.5 Units
