Happy Valley Racing Tips for Wednesday, May 13th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Happy Valley in Hong Kong on Wednesday, which includes nine races at the quality midweek meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Hong Kong racing feature, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (21:40) Maisons-Laffitte Handicap (1650m)

#7 – Double Bingo

Double Bingo was only a nose behind the winner last time out, and we fancy his chances of going one better.

The five-year-old son of Charm Spirit owns a win and two placings at Happy Valley, which is his best track.

Punters should get each-way odds on race night, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (22:10) Chantilly Handicap (1200m)

#3 – Healthy Healthy

Healthy Healthy needed the fresh up run, and punters should expect a much better effort with that run under his belt.

The six-year-old owns five wins and eight placings throughout his career, and although he didn’t win last preparation, he notched a few placings.

Hugh Bowman riding helps his cause, and he could shorten with bookies.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 3. (22:40) The French May Trophy (1650m)

#1 – Fivefortwo

Fivefortwo could go under the radar on Wednesday night, and he could bounce back to winning form.

The four-year-old son of Time Test won by two lengths at Happy Valley two starts back, and something close to that would be good enough.

Barrier two is ideal, so he’ll get all favours in the run.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (23:10) Saint-Cloud Handicap (1650m)

#1 – Mighty Seed

Looking to cap off consecutive placings with a win is Mighty Seed, who was only a nose behind the winner last time out.

The five-year-old son of Time Test likes racing at Happy Valley with 11 starts for a win and six placings, so his record speaks for itself.

Zac Purton sticks with him, which is a good sign.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (23:40) The France Galop Cup (1800m)

#8 – Ace War

Consistency is with Ace War, who scored back-to-back wins at Happy Valley before running second last time out.

The five-year-old son of Phoenix of Spain won both starts by two lengths, so he did it easily, and he didn’t lose any admirers last start.

With Purton riding, we’re happy to bet on him at the odd.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 6. (00:10) Saint-Cloud Handicap (1650m)

#3 – Shooting to Top

Shooting for consecutive wins is Shooting to Top, who dug deep to score by a nose last time out.

The four-year-old son of Shooting to Win turned his form around nicely, and the rise to 1650m has helped his chances.

If Ethan Brown can find cover from out wide, he should go close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (00:45) Chantilly Handicap (1200m)

#11 – Leading Agility

Leading Agility hasn’t been far away in two runs at Happy Valley, having started his career with three runs at Sha Tin.

The three-year-old son of D’argento finished under a length behind the winner last start, so he’s nearing his first career win.

We expect another tidy performance, so take the odds.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 8. (01:15) Deauville Handicap (1200m)

#2 – Aurio

Aurio is already a two-time winner this campaign, including two starts ago at Happy Valley by 1.5 lengths.

The five-year-old son of Capitalist owns a win and two placings at the track, and it’s only a matter of time before he wins again.

It’s another good ride for Purton, who could have a big night.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 9. (01:50) Parislongchamp Handicap (1650m)

#8 – Silvery Breeze

Silvery Breeze was too good for them at Happy Valley last start, and a repeat could be on the cards.

The five-year-old son of Dundeel is bred to be better than average and getting in with 54.5kg on his back makes him tough to beat.

Include him in picks at each-way odds.

Stake: 1 Unit
