Happy Valley Racing Tips for Wednesday, May 27th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Happy Valley in Hong Kong on Wednesday, which includes nine races at the quality midweek meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Hong Kong racing feature, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (21:40) Dordogne Handicap (1200m)

#4 – Happy Action

Happy Action showed improved form when running third at Sha Tin, and it could be enough to handle this field.

The four-year-old son of Deep Field owns two placings from 10 starts, and there isn’t much form to speak of in this race.

Barrier 12 isn’t easy, but a good ride could get him home.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (22:10) Loire Handicap (2200m)

#7 – Rosewood Fleetfoot

Rosewood Fleetfloot was only a length behind the winner last time out, and something similar should be enough to take him close.

The five-year-old son of Proisir had good betting support at $3, and if there is similar betting support, that would be a good sign.

Karis Teetan rides, which adds to his winning chances.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (22:40) Rhine Handicap (1650m)

#6 – Mr Cool

Mr Cool has been a model of consistency this season, and although he hasn’t won, he has five placings from his last six starts.

The Frankie Lor-trained gelding is only a one-time winner from 14 starts, but this level of racing shouldn’t hold him for much longer.

He’s a good each-way play in an even race.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (23:10) Ciron Handicap (1200m)

#1 – Find My Love

Boasting winning form is Find My Love, who dug deep to score by a nose at Happy Valley last time out.

The seven-year-old son of Frankel is a two-time winner at the track, and he doesn’t need to improve to make it back-to-back wins.

Hugh Bowman riding helps, so he’s worth including in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (23:40) The Sauterness’s Cup (1650m)

#2 – Armor Golden Eagle

Armor Golden Eagle owns two wins from his last three starts, including last time out at Happy Valley by 3.8 lengths.

It was an emphatic performance from the four-year-old son of Ace High, who is starting to put everything together.

With Zac Purton riding, he will have his supporters on race day.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 6. (00:10) Ciron Handicap (1200m)

#5 – World Hero

World Hero couldn’t make it three consecutive wins last time out, but he didn’t lose any admirers with the third placing.

The four-year-old son of Written Tycoon is a four-time winner overall, with two wins coming at Happy Valley, and he should fancy his chances of scoring another.

It’s another good ride for Bowman, who could have a big night.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (00:45) Ciron Handicap (1200m)

#2 – Happy Shooter

Happy Shooter’s form has improved significantly this season with a win and three placings, so we’re happy to stick with him.

The five-year-old son of Deep Field failed to finish in his only run at Happy Valley with Zac Purton riding, but he has bounced back impressively.

Lyle Hewitson rides him well, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 8. (01:15) Garonne Handicap (1000m)

#6 – Royal Blitz

Royal Blitz is a former Australian making his first start in Hong Kong, and he looked good in Queensland.

The three-year-old son of King’s Legacy ran second behind Grafterburners at Eagle Farm, and that form has been franked at high levels.

He’s a nice type in the making, and he should go well in Hong Kong.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 9. (01:50) Seine Handicap (1200m)

#9 – Honest Witness

Seeking three consecutive wins is Honest Witness, who scored narrowly two back before scoring easily by 4.8 lengths last time out.

The four-year-old son of Written By could progress through the grades now, and he might have bigger targets in sight.

Purton rides at 53.5kg, which should take him close.

Stake: 2 Units
