IInglis Millennium Form Guide & Tips
1. Encountabull ($8) Bet Now
The John Sargent-trained runner has run well to date and there has been good money come for him.
That was a nice placing behind Wild Ruler last start and he has since won a trial. It could be good enough form to go close, but we want longer odds.
2. Osamu (Best Each Way – $15) Bet Now
Running a nose behind Philizzy on debut was a terrific effort and he represents good value at the odds.
He’s trained by Chris Waller and he’s bred to show plenty of speed early on in his career.
We’re expecting a nice effort and the $15 is generous from bookmakers.
3. Larimer Street ($26) Bet Now
Ran second on debut at Moonee Valley and he made some good ground from the back of the field.
It was a good effort and he’s going to appreciate the inside draw. Consider here at the odds and watch for a betting push.
4. Marnix ($16) Bet Now
Punters should always respect runners from this stable and he was a good winner on debut at Geelong.
This is a significant rise in class and we’re unsure if he’s good enough to handle the pressure of a big race.
We wouldn’t be leaving him completely out of calculations.
5. Prime Star ($91) Bet Now
Bookmakers have the gelding at long odds and rightfully so. Form from the likes of Newcastle and Gosford isn’t going to hold up well here.
6. Fixated ($11) Bet Now
Ran four lengths behind the talented Hanseatic on debut. Form out of that race stacks up well and he only needs to improve a touch to win this.
After opening at $12, he has firmed into $11 and more money could come for him on race day.
7. Charming Pat ($81) Bet Now
Four starts for three placings but we would have liked to have seen him win a race.
Drawing barrier 15 makes it a tough ask and we’d be surprised if he was to run in the first half of the field.
8. Bella Nipotina ($20) Bet Now
Attracting some attention in the betting at generous odds. The filly ran fourth behind A Beautiful Night at Caulfield last start and that has proven to be a great form guide.
Drawing barrier 16 has dented her winning chances, but she could figure in the finish with some luck.
9. Cellsabeel (Best Bet – $1.60) Bet Now
Punters will need to take the short odds on offer, but they dropped to as low as $1.40. She was a devastating six-length winner at Rosehill last start and she could be a star.
That did come on a heavy track, so the margin doesn’t always reflect the win. However, she owns a stack of ability and deserves to be odds-on.
10. Sunborn (Best Roughie – $71) Bet Now
Her trainer has come out saying that she shouldn’t be a $71 chance and we tend to believe him.
She finished off nicely for fifth last start in what should be a good form race. Prior to that, she was a winner at Newcastle.
Tough race to win but the $71 is too good to pass up.
11. Stolen Glance ($81) Bet Now
She was a good winner on debut at Kembla Grange, albeit winning by a nose. She has drawn horribly in barrier 17 and that puts an end to her chances.
13. Slice of Heaven ($71) Bet Now
Broke through for the win at Grafton last start but form out of the country circuits won’t be winning this race.
She’s at long odds and she could drift to triple-figure odds come race day.
14. Very Sharp ($101) Bet Now
Won on debut at Scone before running third at Scone last start. She would need to find five lengths to be competitive against this level of opposition.
15. Fayerra ($91) Bet Now
Yet to finish better than fourth at two career starts. Another runner that would need to improve out of sight to win.
Absolutely Foxy – $91
Tight Ropes – $41
Rock My Wand – $71
