Karaka Millions 3yo Classic Form Guide & Tips

1. On the Bubbles (Best Bet – $1.75) Bet @ Sportsbet

On the Bubbles is the class act of the field and the price is warranted. He showed them a clean pair of heels last start and a repeat could loom.

Take the $1.75 before the race day bets come.

2. Tutukaka (Best Each Way – $15) Bet @ Sportsbet

Tutukaka showed his class when winning the Geelong Guineas before running sixth behind Hitotsu in the Derby.

He didn’t show much when returning to New Zealand, but we’re prepared to give him another chance at the odds.

3. Sophisticardo ($18) Bet @ Sportsbet

Mixing his form but the talent is there. A winner at Taupo three back before going well enough for fourth at Ellerslie last start.

Worth including at the price.

4. Whiskey ($46) Bet @ Sportsbet

Not showing enough consistency this season to warrant attention. Big odds and rightfully so.

5. Te Toki (Best Roughie – $20) Bet @ Sportsbet

He looked good winning his first two starts, but not much has gone his way in two subsequent runs.

We’re prepared to give him another chance and punters get lovely odds for an up-and-coming type.

6. Turn the Ace ($51) Bet @ Sportsbet

Simply not running well enough to figure in the finish. Had his chance last start but didn’t take it.

7. Drum Major ($61) Bet @ Sportsbet

Another runner that would need to improve significantly to figure in the finish. In good hands, but that’s where the positives end.

8. The Stoney One ($20) Bet @ Sportsbet

Nothing wrong with its form and it’s a runner that shouldn’t be left out. A progressive type who could have a bright future across the Tasman.

$20 is well worth taking.

9. Reign It In ($51) Bet @ Sportsbet

A winner earlier this preparation but he has battled since. Likely to find this too tough.

10. Leading Man ($71) Bet @ Sportsbet

Not running well since exiting maiden grades and it he would need a big form reversal.

11. The Landing ($41) Bet @ Sportsbet

Drawing barrier 18 hurts and it needs to find a few lengths. Chance if it brings its debut form to the table.

12. Yes We Khan ($91) Bet @ Sportsbet

The odds tell punters all they need to know. Unlikely to feature.

13. Achieve ($31) Bet @ Sportsbet

Not a bad chance at the odds based on limited racing. Barrier 20 has seen its odds drift, but don’t rule out for the minor money.

14. Karman Line ($12) Bet @ Sportsbet

A brilliant winner on debut and unlucky second-up. Got pushed wide last start, so it could pay to forgive that effort.

Include at the odds.

15. Miss Ella ($7) Bet @ Sportsbet

Backed to beat the favourite at each-way odds after winning at Rotorua. It came by 9.8 lengths, so it was a dominant performance.

Keep safe given the strength of that win.

16. Pin Me Up ($26) Bet @ Sportsbet

From the powerful Te Akau stable, so anything is possible. Around the mark to date so include in first four options.

17. Seven Twenty ($27) Bet @ Sportsbet

Specked at odds, which is an interesting move. We can’t have her in our selections.

18. Verona ($31) Bet @ Sportsbet

A winner on debut before battling its last couple. Another runner that needs to improve.

19. Riverplate ($21) Bet @ Sportsbet

Went to Australia and failed. Better last start and it can’t be overlooked if he gets a run.

20. Buccheri ($81) Bet @ Sportsbet

Shouldn’t be going close.
