Kembla Grange racing tips

Race 1. (13:50) Welcome ITC Director Morgan Bryant Maiden (1000m)

#8 – Zing to Me @ $2.45

Money has come for Zing to Me, who wasn’t disgraced when running second at Kembla Grange last time out.

The four-year-old mare by Capitalist owns five second placings from eight starts, so the maiden win is coming soon.

Barrier two is ideal, and strong bets have come for her.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 2. (14:25) Flicket Ticketing Maiden (1400m)

#5 – Waerea @ $2.15

Waerea showed good speed last campaign when placing in consecutive runs at Kembla Grange, so having track experience is ideal.

The three-year-old colt by Bivouac comes off a good trial placing at Canterbury, and that should top him off nicely for his return.

His odds have drifted, but it’s worth including in multis.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (15:05) The Man Walk Australia Maiden (1300m)

#11 – Chispa @ $3.20

Chris Waller lines up Chispa, who ran second at Beaumont on debut behind Good’N’You, who looks like a nice type.

The three-year-old filly by Savabeel will need a touch of luck from a wide barrier, but Chad Schofield is riding well, so he’s trusted with the ride.

She opened at $3.90 before firming, which isn’t surprising.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (15:40) Cactus Imaging BM64 (1500m)

#2 – Bellesitic Kids @ $7.00

Punters get each-way odds for Belleistic Kids, who is much better than what he showed last time out.

The six-year-old is a seven-time winner overall, but he doesn’t mind moisture in the surface, and he’s good enough to beat this field.

The $7 odds are worth taking in an even field.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (16:20) Tle Electrical Wollongong BM64 (1200m)

#2 – Ready to Shine @ $5.50

Ready to Shine looks ready to win after a tidy effort at Canterbury last time out behind Albany Road.

That was a strong form guide for this level of racing, and the five-year-old should add to his record at midweek level.

$5.50 is a good price for a gelding with plenty of upside.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (16:55) Henry Clive Bar Conditions BM68 (1400m)

#6 – Titanium Miss @ $4.20

Punters get each-way odds for Titanium Miss, who was too good for a tidy field at Warwick Farm last time out.

Winning form at Warwick Farm is often good enough to win at Kembla Grange, and she owns two placings at this track.

We’re snapping up the odds before money comes for her.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (17:30) Kennards Hire Midway C1 (1400m)

#8 – Magical Moments @ $4.60

Magical Moments is better than her form suggests, but her fourth fresh up at Kembla Grange was a tidy effort.

The four-year-old mare by Winning Rupert runs best on soft tracks, so any easing of the surface is right up her alley.

Barrier two is ideal, so she should run well.

Stake: 1 Unit
