Kembla Grange racing tips

Race 1. (12:35) The Race Against Suicide Maiden (1000m)

#6 – Doralee @ $3.10

Doralee looks to cap off solid efforts, including a third placing at Hawkesbury last time out behind Queen’s Rhapsody.

That’s a strong form guide for racing at Kembla on a Tuesday, and it’s why she has been well-backed to win since markets opened.

Barrier two is ideal, so take the $3.10 while it lasts.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 2. (13:10) Join the Warra Club Maiden (1300m)

#2 – Bohemian Art @ $3.70

Looking to cap off consistent form with a win is Bohemian Art, who finished second on debut at Newcastle before running fifth at Kembla.

The Nathan Doyle stable is firing on all cylinders this season, and the three-year-old daughter of Deep Field has upside.

We’re happy to include her in picks at the price.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 3. (13:50) Henry Clive Bar Maiden (2000m)

#2 – Navy Buoy @ $5.50

Navy Buoy has been threatening to win since making his debut, boasting three placings from five starts.

The three-year-old son of Merchant Navy ran third at Newcastle two back before finishing close enough on this track last time out.

A repeat of that effort should be enough to take him close.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (14:25) Rainmaker Bushfire Sprinklers BM64 (1300m)

#2 – Invade and Conquer @ $4.20

Each-way value is with Invade and Conquer, who comes off a second placing at this track.

The four-year-old son of Invader owns two wins and six placings from 11 starts at Kembla Grange, and getting 2kg off his back is a bonus.

We expect him to be fighting out the finish.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (15:05) Dapto Leagues Club BM64 (1300m)

#2 – Los Padres @ $8.50

Los Padres looked good when winning at Kembla Grange fresh up before running solid races in defeat since.

The four-year-old son of Zoustar is a four-time winner overall, and he is another runner getting weight off his back for this run.

He’s worth including in picks at the current odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15:40) Illawarra Production Midway C1 (1500m)

#1 – Caltsar @ $2.50

Caltsar was a disappointment last time out at Scone, but he should be better suited to this level of racing.

The Doyle-trained gelding won easily on debut at Newcastle in heavy conditions, and a repeat of those is good enough to take out this race.

Take the $2.50 before the money comes for him.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 7. (16:20) Wollongong First Aid BM68 (1000m)

#4 – Cassiel @ $3.20

Cassiel was too good for them at Canterbury fresh up, and that’s an excellent form guide for racing at Kembla.

The son of Harry Angel owns two wins and three placings from eight starts, including a placing here, so the record is good.

We expect him to win again at value odds.

Stake: 2.5 Units
