Kilmore Racing Tips for Monday, May 4th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Kilmore on Monday, which includes nine races at the quality meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (12:30) Bet365 Bet Boost Maiden (1600m)

#1 – Angel’s Gathering @ $4.80

Punters get each-way odds for Angel’s Gathering, who has had two starts this preparation, including a third placing last start.

The three-year-old son of Impending wasn’t far away at Donald, and with race fitness on his side, he should be tough to beat.

The heavy conditions shouldn’t worry him, which is a bonus.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (13:00) Obi-Wan Kenobi Memorial Maiden (1450m)

#10 – Wild Ruby @ $2.60

Wild Ruby is nearing a maiden win after two placings this preparation, including a second placing at Stawell last time out.

The five-year-old mare by Charm Spirit didn’t have all favours in the run and still almost won, so it was a tidy effort in defeat.

Her odds have shortened, so follow the money.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 3. (13:30) MC Labour Maiden (1100m)

#7 – Lucky Single @ $3.50

Looking to make a winning debut is Lucky Single, who has shown plenty of speed at the trials and jumpouts.

The Jerome Hunter-trained filly won a trial at Caulfield Heath and a jumpout at Cranbourne, so the daughter of Lucky Vega is ready to go.

She only needs luck from the draw to figure in the finish.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (14:00) O'Briens Electrical Maiden (1200m)

#12 – Ninetyfiveinafifty @ $8.00

Punters get value odds for Ninetyfiveinafifty, who turned her form around with a good third placing at Wodonga fresh up.

The daughter of Pariah made ground from the back of the field, and she looks as though she can handle a heavy surface.

It’s an even field, so include her in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (14:30) Stormtrooper BM56 (1200m)

#5 – Western Lane @ $8.00

Western Lane hasn’t done much wrong this preparation, including a win at Echuca, so the form checks out.

The four-year-old son of Written By owns a win and three placings from nine starts, and he wasn’t far away at Swan Hill last time out.

Barrier three is ideal, and he’s strong enough to carry 61kg.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15:00) The Millennium Falcon Sprint BM56 (1200m)

#2 – King Incanto @ $10.00

Punters get better odds than expected for King Incanto, who has good fresh up form of a win and a placing from three starts.

The five-year-old son of Per Incanto also has form on wet tracks with two wins and a placing, so everything points towards a tidy effort.

Teo Nugent rode a Group 1 win on Saturday, so the jockey is confident.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (15:30) Coulter Legal Handicap (2000m)

#10 – Three Reel Roses @ $6.00

Three Reel Roses is better for two starts under her belt this preparation, including a second placing at Echuca last start.

She has had one start in heavy conditions for a second placing, and although carrying 58kg for a mare isn’t easy, she is a tough type.

We’re happy to include her in picks at the current odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:00) C&M Build Group BM56 (1600m)

#11 – Sara’s Rocket @ $6.50

Money should come for Sara’s Rocket, who ran third at Ballarat fresh up before adding another placing at Geelong last start.

The four-year-old mare by Castelvecchio doesn’t have experience running in heavy conditions, but she looks likely to handle it.

Having Craig Newitt riding adds to her appeal in an even race.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (16:30) Mos Eisley Cantina After the Last BM56 (1450m)

#7 – Thunder Hawk @ $4.60

Thunder Hawk has three second placings from her last five starts, so she deserves a winning run.

The five-year-old mare by American Pharoah ran second at her only attempt at the track, and she should settle closer to the pace this time around.

The each-way odds are worth including in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit
