Plenty of value for punters to enjoy across the card.
Kyneton Cup Day horse racing tips & form
Race 1. (12:30) Tac Be Races Maiden (1450m)
#6 – November Dreaming @ $1.32 – Bet Now
Punters will have to take the extremely short odds in the first, but it could boost multi-bet payouts.
The Danny O’Brien-trained three-year-old should be winning following her second placing behind Oasis Girl last start.
That form has been franked since and there isn’t much opposition to beat here.
Carrying 55kg makes her even harder to stop.
Race 2. (13:00) Iron Jack Maiden (1100m)
#4 – The Gauch @ $2.65 – Bet Now
The Gauch is on debut for the in-form Maher/Eustace stable and there is good money on here.
He’s a Deep Field colt which scored a trial win by two lengths at Cranbourne and that’s likely to stack up well here.
Getting the inside draw helps and if Linda Meech choses to ride positively, she could steal the race from in front.
Race 3. (13:35) Cams Security Maiden (1200m)
#12 – Zorro’s Dream @ $3 – Bet Now
Mitchell Freedman lines up the three-year-old colt which ran well for second on debut.
He finished 1.3 lengths behind Diasonic at Cranbourne and the form out of that race should hold nicely for this run.
It’s a wide-open field but drawing barrier two should see him land on the speed and give a good kick in the straight.
Race 4. (14:10) No Fuss Event Hire BM70 (1200m)
#7 – Pretty Bella @ $8 – Bet Now
Pretty Bella comes into this having won at Warrnambool last start and that might give her the confidence she needs.
The Saab Hasan-trained mare scored by a half-length in easier grade but she has always threatened to win consistently.
Gets her chance here and punters are getting good money to take the risk.
Race 5. (14:45) Sign Obsession BM64 (1850m)
#1 – Yulong Tavion @ $2.90 – Bet Now
The Yulong horses are running well this season and Yulong Tavion could continue their winning run.
He’s a four-year-old by Tavistock which scored an easy win at an odds-on price last start. Punters are getting better odds now and there are no superstars in this race.
Big weight but he should be right around the mark.
Race 6. (15:20) Ray White Real Estate BM64 (1100m)
#9 – Prince of Caviar @ $3.50 – Bet Now
Son of Black Caviar which broke through for the win at Bendigo as a $1.40 chance last year.
Hasn’t raced since September 27, 2018, but the signs were good when last in work. He finished second behind Victoria Derby winner Extra Brut and second behind Mickey Blue Eyes.
His form lines are great and if he has come back in good order, he puts lengths on this field.
Race 7. (16:00) Prendergast Earthmoving BM84 (1200m)
#4 – Asgard Massif @ $4.40 – Bet Now
Has good form fresh up which includes two starts for a win and a placing.
He looked good last campaign, winning three races and although disappointing last start, that came against a much stronger field than this.
His form prior included back-to-back wins at Sandown and Caulfield, which bodes well for this and he should run accordingly.
Nice odds on offer.
Race 8. (16:40) bet365 Kyneton Cup (2000m)
#3 – Double You Tee @ $3.20 – Bet Now
Double You Tee has rattled off four consecutive wins and there is no reason to jump off his back here.
The Patrick Payne-trained five-year-old scored convincingly by two lengths at Moonee Valley last start and the form out of that race reads well.
Drawing barrier three is ideal for this and we’re expecting another top effort in the feature race of the day.
Race 9. (17:15) Evolve Interiors BM70 (1450m)
#2 – Ocean’s Fourteen @ $6 – Bet Now
Simon Morrish lines up the five-year-old which has been in the money in six of his nine career starts.
The son of Ocean Park is a well-bred type which ran well this campaign and could have matured even more this season.
Worth including in selections at the odds and we’re confident he’ll run well.
