Bendigo free tips & form
Race 2. (15:20) No Fuss Event Hire 3YO Maiden (1500m)
#9 – Yulong Chief @ $5.50 – Bet Now
It won’t take much to win this race and the untried Chris Waller-trained colt could be worth backing in this situation.
The son of Galileo will be looking for 2000+ when he matures but the 1500m is an ideal starting and although he would be much shorter in the market if he was special, this isn’t a deep maiden field to get started.
$5.50 is a good each-way price from bookmakers.
Race 4. (16:30) The Big Scream Company BM64 (1100m)
#4 – Reef Master @ $6.50 – Bet Now
Unusual for a Richard Laming-trained runner to go out at long odds on debut but Reef Master was able to cause an upset at odds of $21.
The win came at Sale last month and despite being slow away and losing a plate during the run, he proved good for them over the concluding stages.
Unsure what to expect second up but the odds are appealing.
Race 5. (17:05) bet365 BM70 (2200m)
#4 – Ryan’s Fender @ $4 – Bet Now
Is only going to improve over more distance after winning at Warrnambool last time out over 1700m. Rising to 2200m is ideal and his best run came over 2046m when scoring by 5.5 lengths.
He’s a winner of three from seven starts and he scored at his only start at Bendigo. That came over 1600m last season and he’s ready to continue winning here.
The imported runner (Latin Beat) has been well supported but Ryan’s Field is a value runner.
Race 6. (17:40) McCaig Air Conditioning BM78 (1600m)
#2 – Belgravia @ $4.60 – Bet Now
Son of Galileo which has faced the likes of The Avenger and Al Galayel in recent starts. That form stacks up in open class company and his class should take him close.
The imported UK runner was a winner over 2414m at Leopardstown in 2017 and despite having quite some time off the track, he has looked solid since arriving in Australia.
Gets a dreamy run from the inside barrier and he should be going close against this field.
Randwick free tips and form
Race 1. (13:25) Rise Up @ The Championships Maiden (1550m)
#2 – Flying Legend @ $4.20 – Bet Now
The Les Bridge stable always demands respect and Flying Legend shouldn’t take long to break through maiden ranks.
He’s a son of Redoute’s Choice, which ran on nicely last start at Hawkesbury and has since won a trial. That was a one-length win at Hawkesbury and it should top him off nicely for Wednesday’s run.
His form earlier came behind Roheryn and Adana. That’s top form and $4.20 is a good price.
Race 2. (14:00) No Nay Never Yearling Handicap (1100m)
#2 – Lubuk @ $4.20 – Bet Now
Not many runners lining up at Randwick on Wednesday have form behind recent winner The Odyssey and Magic Millions winner Exhilarates. Lubuk has that form and he has been freshened up with a recent trial placing.
Seeing the colt at $4.20 in the betting is the only concern as we priced him around the $2.80 mark, but that shows you the strength of these two-year-old runners.
Likely to drop in the betting.
Race 4. (15:10) ANZ Bloodstock News BM70 (1250m)
#8 – Kylease @ $2.90 – Bet Now
Joe Pride lines up the three-year-old filly which was an impressive winner at Gosford last start and she could handle the rise in class.
The two-length win came over subsequent winner Sir Owen and that form is going to stack up nicely here. She still has plenty to learn but the talent is there and she has since run close behind Ball of Muscle in a recent trial.
Opened at $3.30 and has unsurprisingly been well backed.
Race 5. (15:45) Tab BM70 (1250m)
#5 – Classique Legend @ $1.50 – Bet Now
Booming win on debut and although punters will have to take short odds, they look to be secured with this talented gelding.
Trained by Les Bridge, the three-year-old was an impressive 2.5-length winner at Randwick and although drawing 10 isn’t ideal here, he should be able to find cover with Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle and kick away for another win.
Watch the betting for any late moves.
Race 6. (16:20) Bowermans Furniture BM70 (1100m)
#5 – Wagner @ $2.45 – Bet Now
Raced behind the likes of Ringerdingding, Charge and Native Soldier last campaign. That’s group 1 form and the James Cummings-trained gelding looks suited to this grade.
He was a winner in rating 74 grade at Canterbury last year and despite rising in weight after that win, he should be too good for them here.
Punters are getting a fair price for the talented type.
