Warwick Farm and Ballarat are the two midweek venues this Wednesday and there is plenty of value to be snapped up by punters.
Some of Australia’s best have come through the midweek circuits and as the autumn carnival is about to hit top gear, we could see some more-than-handy runners lining up this week.
We have our best bets and form across the two betting cards.
Warwick Farm free tips & form
Race 1. (12:55) Ranvet Farewells TD (1100m)
#10 – Glamour Cruise @ $6 – BET NOW
The well-bred Glamour Cruise is paying good odds considering she’s coming off a trial win at Rosehill.
Trained by the Waterhouse/Bott team, the two-year-old filly finished second on debut at Canterbury behind Elessedil and her trial form has been impressive since.
Her 1.5-length trial win last start was a good indication of form and we thought she would be the firm favourite for this race, so the $6 on offer is great value.
Race 2. (13:35) Casino Prince @ Vinery BM70 (1200m)
#2 – Limbo Soul @ $2.80 – BET NOW
Limbo Soul drops back from racing against Group 1 winner She Will Reign and midweek racing should suit nicely.
The Tim Martin-trained filly has plenty of talent, as shown when winning on debut at Rosehill by 3.3 lengths. Since then she has taken on some tough types, but this is easier and the odds are generous from bookmakers.
The 59.5kg could be a problem but she carried 57kg on debut and this is no harder.
Race 4. (14:50) Bowermans Furniture BM71 (1600m)
#3 – Danzie @ $2.35 – BET NOW
Bjorn Baker lines up four-year-old Danzie, which has yet to finish outside the first three in all six career starts.
The Fastnet Rock gelding was the beaten $1.36 favourite at Canterbury last start and punters would have been disappointed with that effort, but he’s got ability and he maps better here.
There has been solid money for Danzie so follow any significant market movement.
Race 5. (15:25) Australian Turf Club BM70 (1000m)
#2 – Brook Magic @ $4 – BET NOW
Brook Magic is drifting in the market a touch after opening at $3.80, but she’s a quality type over the sprinting distances.
The Joe Pride-trained filly is coming back to Sydney having run fourth at Moonee Valley in rating 84 grade. She drops back to rating 70 for this which is ideal.
She was a winner at Warwick Farm two back by 1.8 lengths and we’re expecting a similar performance this time around.
Race 6. (16:05) 1st Adelaide Yearlings BM75 (1400m)
#5– Tip Top @ $3 – BET NOW
Tip Top is a quality midweek type which only narrowly finished second at Randwick behind subsequent winner Onslaught last start.
Les Bridge has the five-year-old travelling sweetly and he was a solid winner at Randwick two back when beating a talented field.
He never puts in a bad effort and although there are some handy types in this race, the big money has come for him early.
Race 8. (17:20) Tab BM78 (1300m)
#3– Missile Coda @ $4.20 – BET NOW
Peter and Paul Snowden line up Missile Coda, which has won three from her eight career starts.
Her last start fifth came behind quality type Suncraze and the form out of that race should stack up perfectly at midweek level.
She has a torrent of speed and she won her only start to date over this distance.
Despite being up in weight, this is easier and she should improve nicely.

Race 2. (16:30) Reece Civil Maiden (1200m)
#1 – Cosmological @ $3.80 – BET NOW
Cosmological put the writing on the wall when running second at Yarra Valley last start.
The Lindsay Park-trained colt went within a neck of What Girls Want last month and he should have strengthened up nicely following that effort.
He’s a type which should get better with age and the inside draw should see him land on the speed and be tough to run down.
Race 3. (17:00) Walsh Ballarat Quarries Maiden (1600m)
#9 – Pelonomena @ $5 – BET NOW
Darren Weir doesn’t take long to get his three-year-olds in the winners’ enclosure and Pelonomena looks like going close this Wednesday.
The Americain filly has finished close in both runs to date and the rise to the mile is going to help the daughter of a champion stayer.
She gets a weight advantage over the majority of the field and she could go under the bookmakers’ sights.
Race 4. (17:30) Cervus Equipment Maiden (1600m)
#7 – Joie De Dream @ $4.50 – BET NOW
This three-year-old filly has been promising a win for punters since debuting in November last year and it’s now time to show up.
The Dream Ahead filly finished a neck behind Alpha at Pakenham last start when it looked as though she would win but finding one better has been a theme.
That could all change here and she should get every chance from the inside draw.
Bookmakers will likely open her as the firm favourite.
Race 7. (19:00) Porter Plant Cup (1600m)
#8 – Sohool @ $4.60 – BET NOW
Sohool is a winner of five from 22 and he represents each way value this week.
The Weir-trained miler was gallant in defeat at Caulfield last start and this should be an easier target for the five-year-old.
He looked well above average when putting consecutive wins together earlier this preparation and anything close to that form sees him winning this.
