Warwick Farm free tips & form
Race 1. (12:50) Casino Prince Maiden Handicap (1300m)
#4 – Toryjoy @ $2.15 – BET NOW
Chris Waller lines up the first favourite of the day at Warwick Farm with three-year-old Toryjoy.
The filly by Street Cry finished seventh on debut at Canterbury before improving significantly to run second at Randwick last start.
That came by a nose against a strong field and it’s good to see Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle.
The $2.15 chance opened at $2.25 and we’re expecting more support for the filly.
Race 2. (13:25) Tab Maiden Plate (1200m)
#5 – Galina @ $2.45 – BET NOW
Galina is a well-bred filly for Peter and Paul Snowden which went close at Randwick last time out.
The daughter of Smart Missile ran within a neck of Euwase after running three moderate trials and it was good to see her show some skills on race day.
Her debut run behind Satin Slipper is a good form guide for midweek racing and she didn’t get all favours in that run.
She’s another runner early in the day which should be well-backed.
Race 3. (14:00) Theraces Maiden (1200m)
#13 – Wagner @ $4.80 – BET NOW
We respect the break-neck speed of Danawai, which ran well for second on debut, but Wagner represents better value at the price.
The James Cummings-trained two-year-old has finished second in both career starts to date and they have come against top-quality opposition.
He finished second behind Ringerdingding on debut before running 2.3 lengths behind the highly-touted Tchaikovsky at Gosford second-up.
That form should hold up well at this level and the $4.80 is much better than the $2.75 for the current favourite.
Race 6. (15:45) Tab Rewards BM78 (1100m)
#7 – Revenire @ $3.60 – BET NOW
James Cummings lines up Revenire which has solid form for this level of racing.
The last start Hawkesbury winner scored easily by 1.8 lengths on that occasion and although there’s more depth to this race, he has form around quality types.
He was tried in city grade and had moderate success when running fourth behind Junglized but this suits nicely and he’s still paying a good price with bookmakers.
The inside barrier makes him even harder to beat over this distance and we’re expecting big money to come for the son of Lonhro.
Race 7. (16:20) Exosphere At Darley BM78 (1300m)
#18 – Lisdoonvarna @ $4.80 – BET NOW
Lisdoonvarna is a weighting special at 55.5kg.
The three-year-old filly is a former New Zealand runner that owns some serious pace and punters should forgot about her seventh at Randwick last start.
That was too tough for her and her form prior included consecutive wins, including a 2.8-length win over this distance.
She will use barrier three to perfection and we’d be surprised to see her not fighting out the finish.
Sandown free tips and form
Race 2. (13:00) Clanbrooke Racing BM70 (1000m)
#1 – King’s Authority @ $2.20 – BET NOW
Mick Price lines up King’s Authority which has great exposed form for the midweek level.
The three-year-old gelding has a placing behind Eurack before running seventh behind Group 1 winner Merchant Navy at Caulfield.
He then ran third at Caulfield last start behind Bandipur and that form is going to stack up very well for this.
He has been primed with a recent trial placing and despite carrying 60kg for this, we’re expecting a big run from the class act of this field.
Race 3. (13:35) Polytrack BM70 (1000m)
#7 – Chateau Griffo to place @ $2.10 – BET NOW
The three-year-old gelding has filly has been exposed to some good racing throughout her career and she should map well for this race.
Trained by Robbie Griffiths, the filly by Sebring is coming off an open class fifth behind Grey Shadow last start and she looked to cope well up in grade.
There are some nice types in this race as well but they are all weighted poorly. She gets in with 56.5kg on her back and that’s her biggest positive here.
Logical each way chance.
Race 5. (14:45) Spicer Thoroughbreds BM70 (1600m)
#6 – Ruby Sea @ $2.90 – BET NOW
Ruby Sea has yet to win from three starts this campaign but she has been putting in good efforts.
The Ciaron Maher-trained mare finished a close second at Sandown last start and the daughter of Sebring is rarely out of the money.
She has finished in the money in six of her nine starts and punters have been enjoying her consistency.
Her latest win came on this track and although that was almost a year ago, she has the class to put this field away.
Race 6. (15:20) Blue Star Print Group BM64 (1500m)
#6 – High Sierra @ $4.20 – BET NOW
High Sierra has looked impressive winning her last two starts, which included a 2.5-length win at Moonee Valley.
The Luke Oliver-trained mare backed up a win at Terang with another good showing and although she drops back in distance for this, she has run well over shorter distances in the past.
Nice value on offer for this improving type.
