Morphettville horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:02) Rexel BM80 (2015m)

#1 – Not Usual Glorious @ $3.40 – Bet @ Neds

Not Usual Glorious comes off a win at Morphettville and the five-year-old gelding loves running on wet tracks.

The son of Fiorente owns seven wins from 16 starts on wet tracks and the former Kiwi gets conditions to suit again on Saturday.

The odds available are worth taking and he should produce the goods.

Race 2. (12:37) Thomas Farms BM72 (1050m)

#11 – Extremely Lucky @ $1.65 – Bet @ Neds

Extremely Lucky won on debut at Murray Bridge before running two solid races behind some nice types.

The three-year-old gets too far back and sprints home impressively, so he should be tough to beat if he settled handier to the pace.

We’re not surprised by the short odds available.

Race 3. (13:12) Carbine Club of South Australia BM64 (1200m)

#12 – Three Tears @ $3.40 – Bet @ Neds

Three Tears scored fresh up this preparation and she hasn’t been too far away from them since.

The daughter of Helmet is a three-time winner from 12 starts and she owns two placings on the track, which is ideal.

Barrier four and having Craig Williams in the saddle could be enough to win.

Race 4. (13:47) David Coles AM Stakes (1200m)

#4 – See You in Heaven @ $1.75 – Bet @ Neds

See You in Heaven is a nice type in the making after posting three wins from four starts.

The two-year-old filly scored by two lengths at Morphettville last start and the daughter of Divine Prophet is a quality type.

Getting the inside draw with 55.5kg on her back only helps her chances.

Race 5. (14:22) Dominant Centaurea Stakes (2015m)

#4 – Foxy Frida @ $3.10 – Bet @ Neds

Foxy Frida looked good winning at Bendigo fresh up and she got back to form when running second on this track last start.

The four-year-old daughter of Foxwedge was only a short margin behind Silent Sovereign and she’s good enough to turn the tables.

Barrier four works well and we’re putting her on top.

Race 6. (14:57) SA Fillies Classic (2500m)

#1 – Douceur @ $3.40 – Bet @ Neds

Douceur doesn’t have the best form but the three-year-old filly has been running in big races.

The daughter of No Nay Never was only 2.2 lengths behind them in the Oaks last start and that followed runs behind Son of Emperor and Daisies.

It’s good form for this race and we’re not surprised by the betting odds.

Race 7. (15:37) R A Lee Stakes (1600m)

#2 – Cherry Tortoni @ $7.50 – Bet @ Neds

Cherry Tortoni looked good when winning two back at Ballarat and he didn’t lose any admirers last time out.

The son of Night of Thunder ran 1.9 lengths behind the winner and he won his only start at Morphettville, so there is good reason to back him.

He hasn’t finished worse than third in six starts at the distance, so the odds are appealing.

Race 9. (16:55) Proud Miss Stakes (1200m)

#1 – Seradess @ $3.30 – Bet @ Neds

Seradess scored by 2.8 lengths in a tough field last start and she is a filly worth following.

The daughter of Astern owns two wins at the course and distance, so she is running well and conditions suit once again.

Craig Williams rides and punters get fair odds.
