Morphettville horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:41) Australian Made Advantage BM62 (1300m)

#3 – Eyes Never Lie @ $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Eyes Never Lie is already a two-time winner from four starts and we like her chances of success again.

The three-year-old daughter of Mint Lane scored at Morphettville last start by 2.8 lengths, which is an excellent form guide.

Punters get fair odds here.

Race 2. (13:22) Thomas Foods International Maiden (1250m)

#9 – Totally Discreet @ $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Totally Discreet comes off consecutive second placings and she shouldn’t take long to break through.

The three-year-old filly by Territories is always well-supported with bookmakers and the early support is there again.

With 54.5kg on her back, she should go close.

Race 3. (13:57) Seppeltsfield Barossa BM82 (1000m)

#3 – Music Addition @ $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Music Addition is struggling to win races, but the seven-year-old has class on his side.

The son of Your Song owns five wins and six second placings, including last time out when finishing second behind Midnight Storm.

$5 is well worth taking.

Race 4. (14:32) A Sheppard Constructions C2 (1300m)

#3 – Toyz on Fire @ $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Toyz on Fire looked good when winning fresh up at Ballarat and anything close to that run will be good enough.

The four-year-old mare has promised plenty throughout her career and she could get back to her best form on Saturday.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see a strong betting push on race day.

Race 5. (15:12) McMahon Services BM64 (1550m)

#10 – Halifax Road @ $3.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Halifax Road comes off a debut win at Murray Bridge and he could rise through the grades.

The Peter Hardacre-trained three-year-old scored by 1.8 lengths, so it was a professional outing as a $4.40 chance.

Carrying 55kg is ideal and we’re confident of his chances.

Race 6. (15:52) Mercedes-Benz Adelaide BM78 (1950m)

#3 – Don’tdreamit’sover @ $8.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The Michael Hickmott-trained gelding hasn’t been showing his best form, but that could all change here.

He owns a win and multiple placings at Morphettville, and rising to this distance could be the catalyst to a big run.

Punters get odds worth locking in, so put him on top.

Race 7. (16:32) Resource Co BM64 (1250m)

#2 – Full Probe @ $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Full Probe has scored back-to-back wins and there is no reason why he won’t be right in the mix here.

The four-year-old son of Deep Field scored by just under a length last start and that form stacks up nicely here.

We’re happy with the each-way odds available.

Race 8. (17:12) Grand Syndicate Grand BM68 (1000m)

#6 – Chosen Blonde @ $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Chosen Blonde is only a two-win runner, but the four-year-old mare has been close with eight placings.

The daughter of Choisir could have matured nicely with the win on this track last start, and all her form has come here.

She owns two wins and two second placings from four starts on the track, so she goes on top.

Race 9. (17:52) Jed Jenkins BM72 (1400m)

#3 – Thrill Kill @ $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Thrill Kill is a three-time winner from 12 starts and he presents a strong challenge to the favourite here.

The four-year-old scored three back at Morphettville by over a length before placing in two subsequent runs.

60kg isn’t easy, but punters get each-way odds.
