Murray Bridge horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:25) TAB 1MW (1400m)

#1 – Iscariot @ $3.20 – Bet Now

Will Clarken lines up the three-year-old gelding that has two wins from four starts and that’s a good start to his career.

The son of Zebedee scored narrowly at Morphettville last start and form out of that should stack up nicely at this track.

He has drawn inside the current favourite and that means he could dictate the pace and score his third win.

Race 2. (13:01) Murray Computers 2YO Plate (1000m)

#1 – Jyoti @ $2.35 – Bet Now

Team McEvoy lines up the two-year-old filly that scored convincingly on debut at Morphettville.

She won by 3.8 lengths after sitting just behind the pace and kicking clear at the top of the straight. It was a win of a filly going places and punters are getting good odds here.

She could firm into an odds-on quote come start time.

Race 3. (13:36) Magic Millions BM68 (1400m)

#13 – Dreamed @ $8 – Bet Now

Dreamed was a winner on debut by a length before rising in class and offering mixed results.

The four-year-old mare got back to good form when running second last April as a $101 chance and although she hasn’t run since May, she could fire in this.

Her most recent run came in the Oaks and that means she has some class. Consider at the juicy odds.

Race 4. (14:11) Carlton Draught Handicap (1200m)

#11 – Lunar Light @ $3.40 – Bet Now

Lunar Light hit top gear when scoring at Strathalbyn last start and she looks a good chance to go back-to-back.

The daughter of Akeed Mofeed looks to have a nice future and there has been good betting support come her way this week.

She’s holding steady at the $3.40 quote and despite drawing barrier 10, she should be good enough to win from out there.

Race 5. (14:51) Australia Day Races BM58 (1600m)

#5 – Aurman Zou @ $6.50 – Bet Now

Punters are getting good odds for Aurman Zou, which isn’t far off from getting back to winning form.

The four-year-old by Zoustar won in December at Murray Bridge before struggling at Warrnambool against harder opposition.

He has since run third on this track and she only needs some luck in running from barrier 14.

Race 6. (15:31) Grandisons BM78 (1800m)

#6 – Ice Ghost @ $5.50 – Bet Now

Four-year-old gelding Ice Ghost is coming off a win at Murray Bridge and that bodes well for another good performance.

The son of Bradbury’s Luck scored narrowly when showing a good turn-of-foot to score and we think he has many more wins in store.

He gets the inside draw and we’re loving the each-way odds on offer.

Race 7. (16:11) Kathleen Mary BM78 (1000m)

#11 – Lake District Girl @ $4 – Bet Now

Lake District Girl is a winner of three from nine starts and she has been primed with an easy trial win.

The four-year-old scored by 4.5 lengths on this track earlier this month and at her best, she’s far too good for this field.

She has finished behind the likes of Humma Humma and Causeway Girl. That form is good and she will be suited by jumping from the inside draw.

Race 8. (16:51) Murraylands Fire & Safety Handicap (1600m)

#3 – Pickelhaube @ $7 – Bet Now

The five-year-old is travelling sweetly this season with consecutive wins this time in.

He scored by just under a length at Gawler two back before doubling down and winning by a nose last start.

There is a touch more competition to deal with in this race but punters should be confident of a good run.

Jockey Gary Lo only needs to find a good position in the run for the $7 to be a value price.

Race 9. (17:32) Fibretrack BM64 (1200m)

#1 – Exalted Trail @ $5 – Bet Now

Exalted Trail doesn’t often run a bad race and he already has two wins to his name this season.

The Grant Young-trained four-year-old finished only 1.8 lengths behind the winner last start and he should build on that nicely.

This will be his first start on the track but Murray Bridge should suit and he represents each-way value.
