We have expert betting tips for the New Zealand racing cards this Saturday at Te Rapa and Ascot Park.
There is always great value at the NZ horse racing meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
Te Rapa racing tips

Class is with La Dorada, who went to Australia and failed to fire a shot in two starts at Moonee Valley.
Connections were bitterly disappointed with those efforts, but her form in New Zealand is excellent, having won at Group 1 level.
She should get back to her best on Saturday with a good trip in transit.

Running third behind De Armas is a good form guide for this level of racing, and he was always going to improve with the run.
That’s common for James/Wellwood-trained runners, and he could make a nice three-year-old next year. However, he’s still a good chance to win this two-year-old event.
He could cap off back-to-back placings, as the odds suggest.

There isn’t much between this field, and Sonoran represents good value at each-way odds.
The four-year-old son of Wrote ran second at Ellerslie last time out behind Just a Karin, which is a good form guide for this race.
Barrier five should see him land handier to the pace and give a good kick.
Stake: 1 Unit
Golden Wings was forced to do too much work in front last start, but he held on well for fourth behind Sista Sugar.
It was a good run in defeat, and the four-year-old son of Super Seth could get back to winning form after showing good pace at Ellerslie two starts back.
The wide draw isn’t ideal, but he has time to find cover.

Ascot Park racing tips

Punters get each-way odds for Pretty Fly, who won fresh up at Ascot Park before struggling once rising in class.
Despite those struggles, the four-year-old mare by Flying Artie runs her best races at the track, and getting 2kg off her back is ideal.
It’s a tough betting race, but she should give punters a good sight.

Looking to cap off four consecutive placings with a win is Perfect Tycoon, who ran second at Wingatui last time out.
The four-year-old son of Rageese was only narrowly beaten as a $5 chance, and that came against a tidy maiden runner in Quisiera.
The form stacks up, and $3 is a good price from bookmakers.
Stake: 2 Units
Running at each-way odds following a win is Bobby McGee, who pulled out all the stops when scoring at Wingatui last time out.
The three-year-old filly by Ancient Spirit had good betting support on that occasion, and we expect money to come for her again.
Take the generous opening odds, which could firm to around $3.70.
Stake: 1 Unit
Another runner paying value odds at Ascot Park is Aozora Note, who handled the heavy conditions at Riverton last time out.
The four-year-old mare by Wrote should be better on firmer tracks, and although it’s an unknown, she has been specked at odds.
We’re happy to include her in picks at the current odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
