A massive field lines up in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield where punters are getting value with most runners in the market.
All eyes will be on favourite Nature Strip, which has found a new home with Chris Waller and he has looked to have settled in beautifully.

Oakleigh Plate Stakes Form Guide & Tips
Viddora (Best Roughie – $14) – BET NOW
Last two efforts have been poor but she has quality on her side and we’re expecting a much-improved effort.
She is looking to break the $3 million barrier and she should have her supporters at a nice price.
Nature Strip (Best Bet – $2.15) – BET NOW
Fair to say he’s a champion sprinter having won nine from 13 starts and they didn’t get close to him when winning at Caulfield last time out.
The Waller-trained runner kicked clear around this track and over this distance, which bodes well and we’re not sure which of these sprinters will be able to keep up with his sizzling sectionals.
Likely to close into an odds-on quote.
Fell Swoop ($26) – BET NOW
Looked awful last campaign but has kicked back nicely this time in with a win and two placings. That form could be good enough to see him finish in the placings here at a nice price.
Will have to swoop from barrier 14 but Hugh Bowman is the man to have in the saddle.
Bons Away ($17) – BET NOW
Gutsy winner last start but it wasn’t at this level and he has always struggled when rising in grade.
Talented type on its day and it should settle around the mark but drawing barrier 20 all but extinguishes his winning chances.
Spright ($15) – BET NOW
Has scored two wins fresh up but apart from winning at Doomben last June, she hasn’t done nearly enough to even be a $15 chance in this.
Only the light weight is a positive.
Ashlor ($34) – BET NOW
52.5kg helps but he might need 42.5kg to be a factor in this. Fourth behind Bons Away last start and that’s not the best form to bring into the Oakleigh Plate.
Kemono ($27) – BET NOW
The Japanese are best known for their middle-distance or staying types, not sprinting. That’s evident with this four-year-old and we can’t see him finishing in the money over 1100m.
Booker ($16) – BET NOW
Written Tycoon mare which has scored only three wins from 14 starts but she has upside and could win a nice race in the future.
Drawing 16 is tough for an on-pace runner and she should be double her current odds.
Eduardo (Best Each Way – $9) – BET NOW
Looked good last campaign when winning three and placing in two of his five starts. They didn’t come at this level but it was a nice start to his career and he flew under the radar for most of it.
Drawing barrier 20 isn’t ideal but he’s the second-best backed runner in the field and we’re not surprised.
Ellicazoom ($21) – BET NOW
Hasn’t quite zoomed this season and it would be a big upset to score here. Winner of only three from 22 starts and that shouldn’t be good enough to take this out.
From Within ($51) – BET NOW
Owns plenty of speed on her day and she scored four consecutive wins earlier this preparation, but she will struggle at this level.
Fuhryk ($46) – BET NOW
Better run for second at Caulfield after showing very little prior to that. Only a shadow of her former self and even with 52kg, it’s tough to see her fighting out the finish.
I’ll Have A Bit ($19) – BET NOW
Tricky draw of 17 and he finished eight lengths behind Eduardo in a recent trial. Form likely not to be good enough to compete at this level.
Sensei ($46) – BET NOW
Kiwi runner which has talent at best but is likely to struggle against the best sprinters in Australia, as they typically do.
Steel Frost ($31) – BET NOW
Nine-time winner but mostly at a much easier level. Twice a winner from three starts at this track and it could add some value to first-four options.
Encryption ($17) – BET NOW
50kg with Craig Williams in the saddle is a good deal and he ran nicely for third last time out. Tough at this level but it’s tough to rule him out at the weights.
Charge – $27
Crown Witness – $101
Bel Sonic – $41
Usain Bowler – $26
Vainstream – $201
