Warwick Farm free tips & form
Race 1. (13:25) Everest Carnival Maiden Plate (1600m)
#6 – Orcein @ $2.90 – BET NOW
It’s taking longer than expected for Orcein to break his maiden status but it’s only a matter of time before the son of Snitzel breaks through.
The Chris Waller-trained three-year-old has placed in two of his seven starts and his form has come behind the likes of The Autumn Sun and Graff. That’s strong form for a midweek maiden race and given that form, his odds are appealing here.
Race 2. (14:00) Tab Rewards BM70 (1600m)
#3 – Palmateer @ $2.75 – BET NOW
That wasn’t such a bad run behind the unbeaten Girl Tuesday last start when the Waller-trained mare hit the line with purpose.
The two-win daughter of Fastnet Rock hasn’t quite lived up to expectations to date but she was a good winner at Sandown four starts back and although Victorian form doesn’t always stack up in Sydney, she gets into this race well at 58kg.
Another win isn’t far away and she is already being well-backed.
Race 3. (14:35) Theraces BM70 (2130m)
#1 – Scratches @ $1.80 – BET NOW
Punters have done their dough on Scratches at her last three starts and they have all been painful to watch. All three rides were below par and it’s good to see Hugh Bowman take over the riding duties.
He should ensure the four-year-old gets a nice passage in the straight and the smaller field of eight should also held with that. That’s going to be key in her success and with a clear run in the straight, she looks tough to beat.
Race 5. (15:45) The Agency Real Estate BM70 (1200m)
#2 – Deity @ $3.90 – BET NOW
Deity is the class mare of the field and has to carry 60.5kg, but the daughter of Exceed And Excel has the best form in the race.
James Cummings lines up the mare which finished 1.6 lengths behind the talented Sheikha three starts back and she went down by only a nose last time out.
That followed a win at Warwick Farm fresh up and any amount of luck will see her going close.
Race 6. (16:20) Bowerman’s Office Furniture (1100m)
#8 – Sexy Eyes @ $6 – BET NOW
This could be the season where Sexy Eyes goes to the next level after showing some improving signs last time in work.
The Waller-trained mare has finished in the money in five of her seven starts, which included placings behind Missile Coda and Serene Miss. Those are both good form races and her form towards the end of autumn was good.
We’re expecting her odds to shorten in significantly, especially with Hugh Bowman riding and she should go well.

Race 2. (13:35) Evergreen Turf Maiden (1400m)
#12 – Our Sunny Girl @ $3.20 – BET NOW
Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young line up the three-year-old filly which has been knocking on the door since kicking off her career in June.
The Sebring filly finished a nose behind the winner on that occasion before running two solid third placings since. Those have been good performances and she’s going to get every chance to shine from barrier two with only 54kg on her back.
There isn’t much form in this race and she could take advantage of that.
Race 3. (14:10) Bartlett Blinds Maiden (1600m)
#3 – Design Rougee @ $2.30 – BET NOW
Another consistent type lines up with the three-time placegetter Design Rouge. The three-year-old has finished within a length in all three runs to date and he looks close to scoring a break through win.
He’s a well-bred colt by Written Tycoon which clearly has good upside and the rise in distance, although going against the breeding, should suit him.
Race 5. (15:20) Porter Plant BM64 (2300m)
#3 – Ocean Walzer @ $4 – BET NOW
Ocean Walzer has firmed in from $5.50 to $4 on the back of some strong midweek betting support.
The Darren Weir-trained runner has attracted punters’ attention by scoring consecutive victories leading into this race and his form looks good over the staying distances.
The former German runner had four starts in Victoria before taking on an easier field at Newcastle and coming up trumps last start. That form holds him in good stead for this.
