The three-year-old filly by Pirro is bred to be good, and she should enjoy the rise in distance after running over 1100m last time out.

Money has come for her, which is a positive sign.

Looking to cap off two placings with a win is Race for Rule, and the odds-on quote with bookmakers is justified.

The three-year-old filly by Magnus placed at Kyneton on debut before running second at Ballarat in heavy conditions, and that run holds her in good stead.

The three-year-old son of Extreme Choice finished fifth at Ballarat behind Terrortorian, and going from 1400m to the mile is ideal.

#7 – Brilliantezza @ $3.30

Brilliantezza lived up to her name with an impressive two-length debut win at Wangaratta, and she could go back-to-back.

The Patrick Payne-trained filly had plenty of betting support on that occasion, so the $3.30 odds are worth taking before late money comes.

She could be a nice type in the making.

Race 5. (18:45) Bon Hoysted Apprentice Cup BM62 (1400m)

#8 – Belcony @ $4.00

Belcony won well at Pakenham fresh up before adding three straight second placings, and she has been unlucky not to win another.

The four-year-old mare by Royal Meeting keeps running well for each-way punters, and that should be no different on Friday night.

She puts herself into the race, and she won’t stay in this grade for long.

Race 6. (18:15) Ladbrokes Sky Heights Final BM74 (2000m)

#10 – Just Jenni @ $5.00

Just Jenni is another mare that doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and she is worth including in each-way bets.

The four-year-old mare owns two wins and five placings from 10 starts, including a placing at Pakenham, and getting in with 55kg is ideal.

We would be surprised if she wasn’t fighting out the finish.

#7 – Arizona Luck @ $6.00

Arizona Luck didn’t have all favours when running fourth at Warrnambool, but it was a tidy effort in defeat.

She made good ground from the back of the field, and she will likely settle slightly handier to the speed this time around.

Luke Currie rides, and a strong ride could get her home.

#4 – Bark @ $5.50

We’re taking the each-way odds with Bark, who didn’t yelp at Pakenham last start, but he was better when winning at Moe two back.

The four-year-old son of Vancouver should appreciate the improved track conditions after not handling the heavy track, so that’s a bonus.

It’s an even field, so include him at value odds.
