Fehmarn wasn’t far away when running third on debut at Pakenham as a $31 chance, and we’re not surprised by the shortening odds.

The three-year-old son of Rebel Dane doesn’t have much to beat in this race, which is why he opened as the odds-on favourite.

Barrier two is ideal, so include him in multi bets.

Race 2. (17:15) Cloudcon Construction Software Maiden (1100m)

#6 – Attention Please @ $5.50

#10 – Itsagiven @ $4.60

It’s an even field, so include her at each-way odds.

#7 – Mahers Landing @ $4.00

The three-year-old son of Priosir owns a win and a placing from seven starts, and getting 2kg off his back is enough to take him close.
