Robbie Griffiths lines up New Prospect, who comes off an improved placing at Murtoa, finishing a nose behind the winner.

The four-year-old son of Cool Aza Beel relished the rise in trip to the mile, so he could show something similar this time around.

Given the odds, he’s worth including in picks.

Eyes of Blue didn’t fire fresh up at Bendigo when running seventh, but she’s better than that, so give her another chance.

The four-year-old mare by Snitzel showed much better speed when placing at Wangaratta last prep, and she owns a trial win at this track.

Moving to synthetic racing won’t worry her in the slightest.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Bold Print is nearing a win this preparation after two fourths, and he wasn’t far away last week at Ballarat.

The four-year-old son of Press Statement is a four-time winner throughout his career, and this field shouldn’t be too hard for him.

He’s at short odds for a reason, so include him in picks.  

Stake: 2 Units

It’s surprising to see Magnardo on such a quick back-up after racing on Tuesday, but she should be too good for them.

She is a 10-time winner competing in BM56 grade, and although that comes with a big weight, she should head to the front and see them off.

The $1.50 is a good multi-bet addition, so snap up the shorts.

Stake: 3 Units

Seeking back-to-back wins is Oshima, who ran sixth on debut before improving to win last time out at Pakenham Synthetic.

The four-year-old son of Shamus Award scored by 2.3 lengths, so it was a comfortable display, and he is good enough to keep winning.

King Maywin didn’t fire last time out, but he has been given time to get over that run, and punters should expect improvement.
