Pakenham Synthetic Racing Tips for Monday, July 20th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Bairnsdale on Monday, which includes 10 races at the quality meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (12:30) Ladbrokes Odds Surge Maiden (1000m)

#8 – Pocketfullofcash @ $2.25

Pocketfullofcash looks to make a winning debut for Jerome Hunter following a trial win, and the money has come for him.

The two-year-old son of Rich Enuff draws wide in barrier 16, but he won the trial by three lengths, so he has speed on his side.

His odds have been smashed, so include him in picks.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 2. (13:00) Become a Southside Racing Member Maiden (1100m)

#1 – Alphabet @ $7.00

We have backed Alphabet a few times when coming up short, but we’re giving her another chance.

The three-year-old filly by Farnan owns four placings from seven starts, so she is consistent enough to handle this field.

Punters get each-way odds to snap up, so take the value.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (13:30) Frankston Sand Soil & Mini Mix Maiden (1100m)

#9 – Jundah @ $3.90

The three-year-old filly ran third on debut at Pakenham, and having experience on the track only helps her chances here.

She finished two lengths behind the winner, and the daughter of Ole Kirk is bred to show quick improvement this season.

Money has come for her, so she’s worth backing.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (14:00) Raceday Medical Maiden (1600m)

#10 – Soul Mistress @ $2.80

Soul Mistress is nearing a maiden win after five placings from seven starts, including a fresh up second placing at Pakenham.

The four-year-old daughter of Soul Patch doesn’t need to improve much on that effort to get the job done, and Jye McNeil is riding well.

We expect her odds to firm close to start time.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (14:30) Ray White Pakenham & Officer Maiden (1400m)

#11 – Thommo @ $4.60

There has been money come for Thommo on debut, and the addition of Craig Williams in the saddle doesn’t hurt his chances.

The two-year-old son of Proisir looked good when winning a trial at Pakenham, which should have him ready to fire on debut.

He’s a full brother to Kiwi Riodini, who had a stack of speed at Group 1 level.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15:00) RW Advisory Group BM62 (1400m)

#1 – Banknote Hustler @ $5.50

The odds for Banknote Hustler have drifted since opening at $4.80, but punters get better odds now.

The three-year-old son of Capitalist looked good when scoring at Pakenham fresh up, and although beaten twice since, coming back to this track will help.

2kg comes off, so we’re taking the each-way odds.

Stake: 1 Units

Race 7. (15:30) Precision Mechanical Services BM62 (1400m)

#7 – Bella Pietra @ $6.50

After opening at $15, money has come thick and fast for Bella Pietra, who ran second at Pakenham Synthetic last time out.

The three-year-old filly by King’s Legacy should come on with that run under her belt, and she only needs luck from a wide barrier.

She is a runner worth including in picks against an even field.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:00) Hygain Edge BM62 (1600m)

#3 – Easy Dun @ $6.50

Andrew Noblet lines up Easy Dun, who was too good for them three back at Bendigo, and a similar effort would take him close.

The five-year-old son of Dundeel ran fifth here last time out, but he didn’t get all favours in the run, so his luck could turn.

The odds make him a worthwhile inclusion.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (16:30) Grant's Plumbing & Drainage Solutions BM70 (1200m)

#7 – Lake Forest @ $2.05

Seeking back-to-back wins is Lake Forest, who kicked away for a two-length win at Pakenham last time out.

The four-year-old improved his record to 12 starts for three wins and five placings, and he could remain unbeaten at the track.

The short odds are worth including in horse racing multi bets.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 10. (17:00) Ladbrokes Pakenham Cup on Sale BM62 (2200m)

#5 – Papal Army @ $12.00

Papal Army hasn’t threatened the winners’ column this preparation, but we’re giving him another chance.

The two-time winner might have needed those runs to get fit, and he wasn’t too far away at Pakenham last time out.

That form should hold up well enough at this level.

Stake: 1 Unit
