The two-year-old colt by Brazen Beau wasn’t too far away from the prize last start at Rosehill, and Randwick should suit him better.

It’s an even field, so include him in picks for value.

#4 – Regal Award @ $3.60

Regal Award didn’t get all favours when resuming at Rosehill, but he was always going to benefit with the run under his belt.

The three-year-old son of Ole Kirk looked the goods in Melbourne last preparation when winning at Caulfield by 7.5 lengths before placing behind Panova.

That form bodes well, and the $3.60 is better than expected.

#2 – Satono Glow @ $3.90

Looking to remain unbeaten is Satono Glow, who won at Warwick Farm on debut before winning impressively at Flemington last start.

The two-year-old filly could have a bright future given her three-length win at Flemington, and coming back to Sydney won’t worry her.

Race 4. (13:30) Provincial Midway Championships Final (1400m)

#5 – Matcha Latte @ $2.90

Looking to win this race in back-to-back years is Macha Latte, who scored a comprehensive win at Hawkesbury last time out.

The six-year-old son of Maurice loves the distance with nine starts for three wins and five placings, and she won’t be too worried by the wide draw.

These races are always tough to predict but respect the money coming for him.

Tempted is a seriously good sprinter, and the three-year-old filly has avoided the best sprinters in Australia.

The daughter of Street Boss owns six wins and four placings from 11 starts, including two wins this prep, and she is primed with a trial win.

The odds are on the shorter side, but she opened at $1.65, so include her in horse racing multi picks.

Splash Back is a talented sprinter on her day, and with three wins from four starts fresh, she finds her best after a spell.

The six-year-old mare will likely get back in the run and hope they go quickly up front, and based on our race maps, they should go hard from the outset.
