Randwick Racing Tips for Saturday, August 8th 2026Ended

We have expert betting tips for racing at Randwick on Saturday, which features 10 quality races for punters to enjoy.

Punters get good value odds for the New South Wales meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (11:30) Midway BM72 (1100m)

#10 - Bangkok Hottie @ $2.10

BET NOW

Bangkok Hottie ended last preparation with back-to-back wins at Warwick Farm and Randwick, which is an excellent form guide.

The three-year-old filly by Too Darn Hot could have stakes racing in her future, and she looks ready to fire this spring.

It could pay to follow any positive betting moves throughout the week.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (12:05) Tab Highway C3 (1000m)

#4 - Zumbo @ $9.00

BET NOW

Zumbo is a proven fresh up performer with four starts for two wins and two placings, and she could hit the ground running this prep.

The four-year-old mare by Zoustar didn’t have any success last campaign, but she comes off a long spell, and the break could pay off.

It’s an even field, so include her as an each-way play.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (12:40) Precise Air BM72 (1400m)

#5 - Avista @ $2.05

BET NOW

Avista is shooting for her fourth consecutive win after posting victories at Muswellbrook and Scone, with the most recent coming by 4.5 lengths.

The four-year-old mare by Maurice could have a bright future in grades higher than this and getting James McDonald riding is a bonus.

There is some hype around her, so include her in multi bets.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 4. (13:15) Myplates BM78 (2400m)

#2 - Golden Century @ $4.80

BET NOW

We have backed Golden Century a few times this prep without success, but we’re giving him one more chance.

The Chris Waller-trained gelding, who has NZ Derby form, comes off a third placing behind Le Troisir, and he could turn the tables on Saturday.

McDonald is a key booking, so keep him safe.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (13:50) MM Electrical BM78 (1600m)

#6 - Perfect Justice @ $4.80

BET NOW

Perfect Justice keeps producing good runs, and although he loomed to win last start and had to settle for second, it was another good run.

The five-year-old son of Justify hasn’t finished worse than second in his last four starts, including a win at Randwick two back.

Siena Grima takes 2kg off his back, which should be enough to take him close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (14:25) Ranvet BM88 (1000m)

#10 - Call Me Gorgeous @ $4.80

BET NOW

Call Me Gorgeous is a two-time fresh up winner, and he could find her best form early in the spring.

The six-year-old son of Deep Field has been freshened up with a trial win at Rosehill, so he looks ready to produce the goods.

Getting in with 54kg is ideal, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:00) Tab Premier's Cup Prelude (1800m)

#5 - Tazima @ $1.80

BET NOW

Tazima is enjoying a winning preparation, including his last three races, which all came at Randwick.

The Waller-trained gelding now owns six wins and five placings from 16 starts, and being unbeaten at the track is ideal form.

It’s another good ride for McDonald, and the inside draw is another positive.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (15:40) Kia Ora Stud Missile Stakes (1200m)

#2 - Ninja @ $4.00

BET NOW

Money has come for Ninja to make a winning start to his preparation, and he looks ready to deliver following a trial win at Randwick.

The four-year-old son of Farnan owns four wins from eight starts, and he tends to find his best form early in his preparation.

It’s a red-hot field, but we fancy his chances of coming out ahead.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (16:15) Toyota Forklifts BM78 (1200m)

#1 - Mareth @ $5.50

BET NOW

Mareth could go under the radar in a fresh state, having finished second at Randwick behind Beskar in April.

The four-year-old mare by Harry Angel is only a one-time winner from nine starts, but she has been around some smart types.

Getting 3kg off her back helps, and it should take her close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 10. (16:55) Chandon BM78 (1200m)

#3 - Columbia Blue @ $4.20

BET NOW

Columbia Blue scored a good win over Snack Bar last time out, and he should be unbeaten from two runs this preparation.

The five-year-old son of Yes Yes Yes owns four wins and three placings from eight starts, so he’s a nice type on the rise.

60kg doesn’t make it easy, but class takes him close.

Stake: 2 Units
