Randwick free tips & form

Race 1. (11:35) Australian Turf Club Handicap (1400m)

#3 – Mandela @ $1.80 – Bet Now

Cost himself the race on debut when running out in the straight. Was going to win the race comfortably if Tommy Berry didn’t pull the stick, but he could take this out.

The well-bred son of Sebring has a won a trial since by 3.8 lengths and that’s a good sign coming into this.

$1.80 is short but he could start even shorter come race day.

Race 2. (12:10) TAB Highway Handicap (1100m)

#5 – Healing Hands @ $2.40 – Bet Now

The four-year-old has looked good winning two of his three starts and he looks good enough to win at this level.

He’s a son of I Am Invincible which scored by 4.3 lengths at Dubbo last start and his only defeat came behind the talented Syd’s Footprints.

That form looks good for this and his opening odds of $2.75 have been confidently taken.

Race 3. (12:45) Book Spring Hospitality BM74 (1200m)

#3 – Sir Elton @ $1.85 – Bet Now

It’s tough to look past the form of Sir Elton, who is unbeaten after three starts.

The talented three-year-old gelding is coming off a two-length win at Randwick when beating some nice types and he looks ready made for city grade.

This is another rise in class and he’s facing a much harder field, but it’s hard not to be impressed with Sir Elton.

Race 4. (13:20) TAB BM78 (1400m)

#1 – Slow Burn @ $5.50 – Bet Now

Les Bridge-trained runners don’t often stay out of form for long and Slow Burn looks an improver.

The five-year-old mare is a three-time winner from 16 starts and she should appreciate running against only a moderate field here.

She gets some weight off her back and could run well at each-way odds.

Race 5. (13:55) Eremein Handicap (2000m)

#6 – Attorney @ $2.15 – Bet Now

Since arriving in Australia from France, Attorney has remained unbeaten from two starts and he looks a real up-and-comer.

The four-year-old flashed home late to win at Canterbury last start after settling well back throughout the run. That was a win of a horse going places and rising in distance looks ideal.

Handles wet tracks and dropping to 53kg makes him awfully tough to beat.

Race 6. (14:35) Everest Carnival BM78 (1800m)

#2 – Loveisili @ $4 – Bet Now

Form is with Loveisili which has rattled off three consecutive wins. The Kris Lees-trained import looked the goods when scoring at Warwick Farm last start and he should prove tough to get past again.

Drawing barrier two is going to see him settle in a good position and he gets a valuable apprentice claim off his back.

Bookmakers are offering a good price so stick with him.

Race 7. (15:15) PFD Food Services BM88 (1400m)

#8 – Ljungberg @ $2.60 – Bet Now

Ljungberg is a real talent and he showed that when scoring by two lengths at Randwick last time out.

The three-year-old gelding has finished in the money in seven of his 10 career starts and rising in distance is only going to help his chances.

He has a wealth of speed and with only 54.5kg on his back, punters should be seeing his turn-of-foot come out to play once again.

Race 8. (15:55) Winter Racing BM78 (1600m)

#2 – Monsieur Sisu @ $4.60 – Bet Now

The four-year-old gelding is looking to cap off some consistent form with a win here. The son of Elvstroem has been knocking on the door and just needs to find a half-length to take this out.

He has finished in the money in eight of his 17 starts and this isn’t the strongest field we’ve ever seen, so he could take advantage.

Bookmakers are offering each-way odds so consider.

Race 9. (16:35) ATC Member Tours BM78 (1000m)

#4 – Greyworm @ $2.60 – Bet Now

Greyworm is a consistent type which has won three of his six starts and placed in his other three attempts.

The former Victorian has yet to do much wrong throughout his career and he has beaten some nice types in Melbourne.

Interesting runner here but the money has been put on and that’s a good sign going forward.
