Randwick horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:40) Tokyo City Keiba Fireball Stakes (1100m)

#1 – Wild Ruler @ $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Wild Ruler kicked off his last campaign with consecutive victories and he could fire up early in the autumn.

The Snowden-trained three-year-old is a big race winner and he’s unbeaten from two attempts at Randwick, which bodes well for this race.

He gets the inside draw with James McDonald in the saddle.

Race 2. (13:15) Todman Stakes (1200m)

#1 – Profiteer @ $2.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet

We are always weary of restricted racing form, but Profiteer was just a fraction outside of the track record when winning the Inglis Millennium.

The Price/Kent-trained two-year-old cleared out to win by 5.3 lengths in a dominant display and he looks to have a bright future.

The son of Capitalist handles all track conditions and he gets every chance off the inside draw with Hugh Bowman in the saddle.

Race 3. (13:50) Yarraman Park Reisling Stakes (1200m)

#5 – Pretty Woman @ $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Pretty Woman is unbeaten after two career starts and although facing a sharp rise in class, she has potential.

The filly by Written Tycoon comes off a 1.8-length win at Canberra and she hasn’t been tested yet, so there is plenty of upside with this runner.

She is a risk but punters get odds worth taking.

Race 4. (14:25) Randwick City Stakes (2000m)

#2 – Sacramento @ $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Sacramento faces a rise in class after winning three on the bounce, but he’s running well enough to be considered.

The Waterhouse/Bott-trained four-year-old scored by 1.3 lengths at Rosehill and with two wins at this track and distance, punters should be confident.

55.5kg on his back is ideal and we’re expecting another tough effort.

Race 5. (15:05) Hyland Colours Challenge Stakes (1000m)

#8 – Written Beauty @ $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Written Beauty faces her toughest test to date but we’re confident the three-year-old filly can handle the pressure.

She is a winner of five from six races and the daughter of Written Tycoon gets the weight advantage at 54kg.

Beating Nature Strip won’t be easy, but the $5 odds are too generous to overlook.

Race 6. (15:45) Fujitsu General Wenona Girl (1200m)

#6 – Emanate @ $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Emanate runs at short odds after scoring an easy 3.8-length win at Rosehill last time out.

The Cummings-trained four-year-old owns five wins and four placings from 10 starts, so she has plenty of class and is able to handle this level of racing.

Getting in with only 53kg is an ideal weight and the well-bred daughter of Lonhro could score another win on Saturday.

Race 9. (17:40) Sharp Extensive It Aspiration (1600m)

#5 – She’s Ideel @ $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet

We are sticking with She’s Ideel after another solid effort. The honest five-year-old mare is a five-time winner from 16 starts and three of those wins have come at this track.

Bjorn Baker lines up the daughter of Dundeel that has impressive statistics and jumping with only 54kg on her back is ideal.

Punters get value each-way odds and we’re confident of her chances.
