Randwick Racing Tips for Saturday, May 23rd 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Randwick on Saturday, which features 10 quality races for punters to enjoy.

Punters get good value odds for the New South Wales meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (11:00) Asahi Super Dry Handicap (1200m)

#7 – Uncertain Glory @ $3.90

There was nothing uncertain about her debut win at Warwick Farm, and the form has stacked up nicely since.

The two-year-old filly by Zoustar came from off the pace to win as a $3.90 chance, and it bodes well for the rest of her career.

She could be a filly worth following this season.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (11:35) Midway BM72 (1400m)

#9 – My Phar Lady @ $11.00

My Phar Lady is already a two-time winner this preparation, with the latest coming two starts ago at Rosehill.

The four-year-old mare by American Pharoah followed it up with a third placing at Rosehill, so there is nothing wrong with her form.

Zac Lloyd rides from a good barrier, so the $11 odds are worth snapping up.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (12:10) Tab Highway C3 (1200m)

#1 – Exit Fee @ $4.20

Punters get each-way odds for Exit Fee, who was well-backed to score last start when settling for second behind Neil.

It was a solid run at Gosford, and we expect that form to hold up nicely at this level, and he’s used to carrying big weights.

Money is likely to come for him on race day, so snap up the current odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (12:45) Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation BM78 (2400m)

#3 – Cap Saint Martin @ $3.50

It could pay to forget Cap Saint Martin went around at Gosford after getting back in the run and being held up at the top of the straight.

The four-year-old son of Persian King showed ability when scoring at Canterbury, and something close to that is good enough.

Strong bets have come his way, which is a good sign.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (13:20) PF Civil BM72 (1800m)

#2 – Bird Whistle @ $3.70

Looking to score on the quick back-up is Bird Whistle, who was too good for them at Scone last Saturday.

The three-year-old filly by Brutal held off some nice types with a front-running display, and similar tactics will be used this time around.

3kg comes off her back, so she is ideally weighted.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (13:55) Taylor Constructions BM78 (1400m)

#12 – Surf’s Up @ $7.00

Surf’s Up hasn’t had all favours in the run this preparation, and drawing barrier 17 isn’t ideal, but she will settle back and come home with a wet sail.

The three-year-old daughter of Flying Artie owns a win and five placings from eight starts, and she should enjoy running at Randwick for the first time.

Lloyd riding is ideal, and a good ride could get her home.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (16:30) General Australia BM88 (2000m)

#11 – King of the Sea @ $3.80

King of the Sea is getting close to scoring his first Australian victory after running fourth at Caulfield and third at Gosford.

The four-year-old son of Sea the Moon looked good in Europe when winning three consecutive races and getting in with 54.5kg is ideal.

The $3.80 odds are better than expected, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 8. (15:05) Academy Brand BM94 (1600m)

#8 – The Three Hundred @ $10.00

Punters should expect better from The Three Hundred than what he showed fresh up, and there has been money for him.

The four-year-old son of I Am Invincible owns four wins from 18 starts, and although he has yet to fire at Randwick, his form could turn around.

We expect him to roll forward and give punters a sight.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (15:45) Uphire BM78 (1000m)

#1 – Lyles @ $3.20

Lyles looks ready to run after winning a trial at Randwick, and he did nothing wrong last preparation when posting three consecutive wins.

The four-year-old son of Exceed and Excel owns four wins and three placings from eight starts, which is an excellent record.

61kg is a big weight, but class takes him close.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 10. (16:25) Wilson Asset Management BM78 (1400m)

#3 – Sargeant Major @ $14.00

Ciaron Maher lines up Sargeant Major, who was only two lengths behind the winner fresh up.

The four-year-old is a past winner at Randwick, and although he’s only a two-time winner overall, he has promised to deliver much more.

We’re happy to give him one more chance at the odds.

Stake: 1 Unit
