Defenseman is on debut for Chris Waller after winning a trial at Rosehill, which was an impressive performance.
The two-year-old colt by Wootton Bassett won by 1.5 lengths, and he looked good when stretching out, so we expect big things.
The Kirkham Plate is always a tough race, but the money is likely to come.

Christa had no luck when running third last time out at Rosehill, and she looks primed for an improved performance.
The daughter of Epaulette had no room to move in the straight until very late, and she hit the line impressively once out.
We expect her to be right around the mark, so put her on top.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Mafia battled gamely for second at Muswellbrook, and he doesn’t need to improve too much on that performance.
It’s an even Midway, and he has four wins and seven placings overall, so there is little wrong with his record.
Look for him to settle handy from the draw and to kick strongly.

Victoria Road makes his return to the track having not raced since 2023, and Ciaron Maher should have him ready to go.
The four-time winner has been given plenty of trials to prepare for this, including a win at Warwick Farm, which should top him off nicely.
His most recent run came behind Pride of Jenni, so the form stacks up.
Stake: 1 Unit
Skyglider was spelled following a debut win at Canterbury, which has become a good form guide.
Second in that race was Sixties, who has kicked on with it, and the three-year-old colt comes off a strong trial placing.
Barrier two is ideal, and late betting moves should come his way.
Stake: 2 Units
Class is with Lindermann, who owns two wins from his last three starts, and he was far too good for them at Rosehill last start.
The Group 1 winner scored by 2.3 lengths, and although there are some nice types in this field, he’s the best of them, and 1800m won’t worry him.
He will likely run through many multis on Saturday.
Stake: 2.5 Units
We backed Ohope to win at Rosehill last start and he didn’t let us down. It was a fine performance, and rising to the mile is exactly what he wants.
We likened him to Zardozi, and he likes to grind away down the straight before wearing his opponents down. It’s a good asset to have, and he measures up well in this race.
Punters should include him in each-way picks.
Stake: 2.5 Units

Transatlantic has been travelling this season, and his most recent win at Sandown is a good form guide for this race.
The Tony Gollan-trained gelding scored by a nose over Evaporate, who is a genuine Group 1 performer. We liked how strong he was to the line, so he’ll win more races.
Going from 1600m to 1500m is a query, but class takes him close.
