Randwick horse racing tips & form

Race 1. (13:25) Vinery Maiden Handicap (1400m)

#4 – Mokulua @ $3.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The three-year-old filly is knocking on the door after three placings from three starts, so she is ready to breakthrough for the win.

She is a daughter of Redoute’s Choice who has had her last two starts on the track, including a narrow placing behind Profondo.

She might be drifting since opening at $2.70, but this looks like her race to lose.

Race 2. (14:00) Magna Grecia Foals Maiden (1100m)

#12 – Mayrose @ $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Mayrose is looking to cap off consecutive second placings with a win after showing a good turn-of-foot last time out.

The John Sargent-trained three-year-old has had both starts at Goulburn and rises to city class, but she gets the inside draw and a light weight.

Jason Collett takes the ride and we’re happy with the current odds available.

Race 3. (14:35) Buy @ Irish Sales Online BM72 (1800m)

#8 – Narrated @ $7.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Narrated owns two wins and four placings from seven starts, so she is always around the mark.

The Maher/Eustace-trained four-year-old comes off a win at Mudgee by 2.3 lengths, so she produced a fine turn-of-foot to score.

Getting the inside draw with only 54kg on her back is ideal, so punters should be confident.

Race 4. (15:10) Admire Mars @ Arrowfield BM72 (1550m)

#6 – Ita @ $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Ita is shooting for three consecutive wins after scoring at Wyong by 1.8 lengths last time out, which was a professional performance.

The four-year-old daughter of All Too Hard owns three wins and four second placings from seven starts, so the class is there, and she demands attention.

Barrier three is ideal and punters get fair odds.

Race 5. (15:45) Tab BM72 (1300m)

#4 – Calgary Queen @ $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The Brad Widdup-trained four-year-old returned from a spell in fine style at Randwick with a win last month.

It came on a heavy surface, but the daughter of Real Impact has form on a good surface, so the improved conditions shouldn’t be an issue.

Punters get each-way odds to enjoy.

Race 6. (16:20) Earthlight @ Darley BM72 (1150m)

#1 – I Say Hello @ $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet

I Say Hello is a three-time winner from six starts, so we’re surprised bookmakers have her at double figure odds.

The four-year-old mare by Iffraaj didn’t fire at Gosford last start, but that came behind the likes of Brandenburg and Nudge.

She finished third behind All Hallow’s Eve prior to that, so that’s excellent form for midweek level.

Race 7. (16:55) Heineken BM72 (1400m)

#7 – Super Contender @ $3.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Chris Waller lines up the six-year-old gelding who hit the line nicely at Randwick last start, which is a good form guide.

He was only a short margin behind Rustic Steel, which should be a good form guide for this level of racing.

Having James McDonald in the saddle is ideal and only barrier 13 is the only worry.
