Rosehill horse racing tips & form

Race 1. (13:25) Hyland Race Colours Maiden Handicap (1200m)

#12 – Selburose – Bet Now

Chris Waller lines up the debutante, which has looked good at the trials to far. She owns two trial placings from three attempts, and she’s bred for speed.

The daughter of I Am Invincible won by 1.3 length at Randwick last start, and her first two trials came on this track.

Drawing barrier four is ideal and she should prove tough to beat.

Race 2. (14:00) Iron Jack Maiden Plate (1300m)

#1 – Battleground – Bet Now

Battleground continues to run second but he could go one better this Wednesday. The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained colt has been facing tough fields to date.

He finished second behind Hellbenders, Hightail, and Twice as Special. It’s good form for midweek level and although this field is solid, his race experience helps.

We’re expecting solid money to come throughout the day.

Race 3. (14:35) Tab BM70 (1500m)

#10 – All Time Legend – Bet Now

Les Bridge lines up the talented gelding, which showed that a clean pair of heels two starts back. He won by 3.3 lengths in a dominant display of running.

He was beaten when fourth at Randwick last start, but that came behind Zebrowski, which has since run at Group 2 level.

He won a trial at Randwick to prepare for this race and that’s a good sign.

Race 4. (15:10) Sky Racing Active BM70 (1500m)

#1 – Loveseat – Bet Now

Loveseat is fresh up after having her last race in November. The James Cummings-trained mare scored a trial win at Randwick to prepare for this run.

It was a solid effort and she scored a win at her only start at Rosehill. Drawing barrier 11 is a tough ask, but Kerrin McEvoy rides and that’s a positive.

She’s the class act of this field and punters could get value odds.

Race 5. (15:45) Vinery Stallions BM78 (1800m)

#7 – Yonkers – Bet Now

Yonkers was good enough to score three consecutive wins before running fourth last time out.

The Waller-trained gelding was only a length behind the winner last start and he lost no admirers with the effort.

Drawing barrier 13 is tough, but he typically makes his own luck. Watch for Yonkers to be finishing off the race stylishly.

Race 6. (16:20) Astern @ Inglis Easter BM78 (1300m)

#8 – Mirra Vision – Bet Now

The three-year-old faces a hot field, but she drops in grade after contesting Listed grade at Rosehill.

She’s a filly for Peter and Paul Snowden that won her first three starts. Her form has been stellar throughout her career and being on a 10-day backup is ideal.

Punters could get each-way odds for the daughter of Lonhro, which will be taken quickly.

Race 7. (16:55) Autism Community Network BM74 (1100m)

#5 – Witherspoon – Bet Now

Kris Lees lines up the four-year-old mare, which is coming off a tidy second placing.

She finished a long neck behind Grand Piano, and that’s good form for midweek racing. Prior to that, she had been taking on tough fields and running well.

She scored a win at Randwick fresh up and anything close to that run would be good enough.

Race 8. (17:30) Ranvet Power Formula BM70 (1200m)

#7– Military Magic – Bet Now

Military Magic is unbeaten after three runs and she could continue the perfect start to her career.

The three-year-old by Epaulette scored her most recent win at Canterbury, and she looked good placing in a trial at Randwick.

Drawing barrier two will see her land close to the pace and fight out the finish.
