Compensation ran well for third on debut at Warwick Farm, and the form has stacked up beautifully from that maiden.
Castlejohn and Metallic Cat finished ahead of him, with Metallic Cat winning again last week, so it’s one of the better maiden form guides around.
We’re happy to take the $2.60 odds in the opener.

The three-year-old filly by Hellbent keeps finding one or two better, but she has faced tough fields, and she could lead and kick away from them.

The Matthew Dale-trained gelding owns seven wins from 29 starts, and although he’s 0-4 at Rosehill, he could turn that around.
